Ice of the Mountain District

Chakra has gone to talk with the Sky District leader. She believes she can quell whatever anger is in his heart. Blaze Rock and River have said that they cannot get ahold of the angel. I am fearful, has the angel abandoned us? We are all doomed if the angel leaves. He protects us; he is the life of the dream world. Without him Chakra and I are sure the dream world will collapse. I’ve put my faith in my leader, our leader; she will pull us through this catastrophe. I will wait as long as she needs me, though most have abandoned the city already there are few, like me; staying to help if needed. Chakra tells us to do the same, to be smart and protect your own; that she will deal with the problem at hand. But I cannot let her fight this battle alone, I won’t.

Willow

The rocky surface was cool to the touch the mural was beautifully done, even though it was faded and pieces of chalk paint had wiped away it still held vibrant colors. The leader stood proud and defiant, dressed in sweeping robes of vibrant reds and purples. Willow stared up at the drawn face it was stern and intimidating. Willow would not want to be on the wrong side with her. Standing next to her were three males all with a green halo around their head, element walkers. Willow looked back to the leader and swears the halo around her head was purple and not red.

Rabbit sat Willow down the second night she was there and forced her to memorize the colors associated with the walker types. Purple, purple made no sense to Willow Rabbit had never covered that color. Maybe Gemini was right maybe it was red. After all the color of the rock was warping some of the more faded colors like the brown in the leaders hair looked black and the green had all but faded away.

Glancing back to where Gemini was reading the various journals she found Willow couldn’t help but wonder why Gemini was the one who knew something was up. Granted Willow didn’t know much about the situation but Britney sure made it seem like Gemini had been at fault for something. Willow sighed simply and looked back to the mural. This one was different from the rest scattered throughout the expansive city. Gemini had refused to go into the mountains but they’d still only scratched the surface.

The Valley district city was a lot smaller than this one. It couldn’t even compare. Willow vaguely remembers something about the larger the city the more the resources it provides are needed but she couldn’t quite recall. If he’d been right and the larger cities were needed the most, why had this one been abandoned? Willow could be wrong, the silver lighting harvested in the Valley district was used for power, granted Rabbit had said the Sea District and the Desert district were practically the only ones who used Silver Lighting as a source of power is was still a hot commodity, right?

Willow wasn’t too sure, she was still new and the Districts were all secretive. Rabbit had mentioned none of them got along very well. She’d heard rumors that sometimes fights broke out over resources and a full out territory war broke out months before Willow first woke here. Apparently the Desert district and the Valley District were arguing over who the mountains really belonged to. They weren’t marked as forbidden land and they weren’t marked as either of theirs on any map.

Looking back to the mural Willow would have guessed someone would have remembered that a District used to sit her or that this city was here, but with all the craziness with the territory fights Willow figured not.

“Find anything?” Willow called over to Gemini who looked up from the journal she was pouring over. “Huh?” was Gemini’s response. Willow rolled her eyes taking one more glance at the latest mural they’d come across and walked over to Gemini who was sitting on the stone railing which prevented anyone from falling maybe three thousand feet feet to their death. They were on the fifth maybe sixth tier and were giving swift a brake.
