As I've said before I messed up with Gemini's walker abilities, the story is fine it hadn't mattered since the first chapter and now this chapter and on ward but I mislead some of my fans into thinking she was a different type. Please accept my apologies.

Gemini slipped through the front door scanning the ground level for her mother. The house was silent save the heater clicking and whirling about and the washer barely heard from the garage. Gemini let her bag drop to the floor and toed off her shoes before walking farther into the house.

Gemini bee lined over to the garage door and peeked in, letting out a breath of relief as she saw the empty spot where her mother’s car usually is. The garage was a mess; piles of boxes lined the walls an unused tool locker was half hidden in them. A few bikes were piled up in one of the corners a large oil spot where her mother’s car leaked out stained the concrete.

Gemini then made her way to the kitchen and made herself something to eat. Her mind was still working on over drive from the conversation she had with Kira. Gemini hadn’t really noticed before but things were off. Things just weren’t right and the lights were going to suffer if someone didn’t do something.

The game might have to wait, was Gemini’s first thought which she quickly disregarded. She couldn’t put her plan on hold she’s put so much effort into it. She’s worked so hard to get what she wants, to even the score she wasn’t about to stop just because a few things are amiss, though she’d have to put some extra thought into her plan to dethrone the Over Seer.

The Sky District had too much power and someone needed to put them in their place. Gemini was planning on it being her. She’d spent months and weeks and close to two years learning everything she could about the district. She’d delved into the inner working as much as an outsider was able.

Gemini found many things, she’s found that there are rumors and legends that the Sky Palace used to Wake new Lights but something happened and made the District, as most put it ‘sterile.’ Gemini had found that each district used to keep records of each new light but for some reason that no one knows about they just stopped and the records were destroyed.

The Sky District was shrouded in complete mystery. It was as if the Sky District was taken and put aside from the other districts. Gemini also found that each night the Sky Districts city the Sky Palace is slowly getting lower to the ocean soon it would just sink low enough to be considered an island. She’d found that the leader of the Sky District was supposed to renew whatever it was that needed to be renewed to keep the city afloat. However for some reason the Over Seer has been neglecting it.

For a long time Gemini wondered if the Over Seer was growing incompetent and couldn’t preform her duties. Though Gemini quickly tossed that idea, the Over Seer was said to be the one to control everything in the Dream World.

She was the one who allowed the lights to enter and she was the one who decided which walker each light would be. In some sense she was God and everyone looked up to her. They feared her and worshiped her, they didn’t pray but everyone did something very close to it. They kept her on their minds while there worrying about angering her and hoping to get on her good side.

Gemini was tired of it, and she planned on putting a stop to it all.

Gemini flopped down onto her soft and messy bed and quickly drifted off to sleep, she needed help. She opened her eyes; the beauty of the grassy valley hills always brought so much joy to her, though the mountains in the distance seemed to bring a sense of home sickness to her as well. Gemini shook her head shaking off the feelings then headed off to the one person she could talk freely too.
