  Gemini

Gemini woke up from a dreamless sleep induced from almost two bottles of the expensive Whisky. Gemini was alone in the spare bedroom, her mother always made sure the clients cleared out before the sun rose. Gemini stared at the blank white wall quietly feeling no pain thanks to her walker type. Gemini hated her type; it was useless most of the time.

Though to be fair she never had a mentor and was never able to learn how to use it properly. Not to mention merely using her powers resulted in a headache. She figures the pain is from never being instructed properly on how to use such a temperamental walker type. Gemini never uses her powers for anything more then to seduce men into thinking they’ve had a great night with her and to heal the bruises Britney and the other bullies are so gracious to give her.

She sat up feeling no ill effects from the poison she downed the night before, though the pain in her chest was still raw and very much painful. She shook her head and got up. Taking a shower to wash away her sins and memories from the night before was always one of the best times in the day for her. She usually stayed under the water until t turned cold. Gemini got out and dried off before getting dressed for school.

She wore a beat up white wife beater and a loose fitting black long sleeve shirt that had holes for her thumbs that she made by taking scissors to the soft fabric. Gemini then wiggled around to get into her favorite pair of dark wash skinny jeans.

She brushed out her hair quickly and blow dried it then quickly and lazily pulled up the mop she calls hair into a messy pony tail. After a once over in the mirror she smeared on some black eyeliner to denounce the bags under her eyes. With a quick flick of the pen her round eyes turned cattish and brought attention to the fact they were different colors. She then slipped on her beat up old black and purple skater shoes and headed out of her room.

Down stairs her mother was washing the old chipped dishes and humming lightly to herself. Her hair was a mess as always though at least there were curlers tangled up in the mess. She was still wearing the old stained used to be pink robe that she loved so much. Gemini’s mother paid no attention to her daughter though she looked roughly sober for once. Gemini wondered for how long that would last.

She glanced at her mother curiously as she cautiously opened the fridge and rummaged through it, quickly finding the box of pop tarts and grabbed one of the packages inside. Gemini gave one final look to her mother as she pulled on her father’s jacket and slung her heavy bag that held two texts books and a lot of note books over her shoulder and slipped out of the house. Gemini bit into one of the strawberry flavored pop-tarts and glanced up, completely unprepared for what she saw.

Willow Grey was standing outside of the front gate watching her quietly in all her preppy cheerleader glory. Her hair was in a French braid; Gemini knew that meant she had cheerleading practice today, though it was cold out she figured they’d be practicing in the gymnasium. Though seeing her in her cheerleading outfit was always a bigger tip off. The silver and midnight blue outfit was small and showed a lot of skin. The skirt was basically just thick strips of fabric sewed to the waist band with skin tight shorts underneath. The top was basically a tank top with her stomach in view for all to see that she has her belly button pierced.

Gemini really didn’t want to think about Willow in cloths like that let alone see her there waiting for her in cloths like that. Gemini quickly smashed down the feelings of betrayal and want that bubbled up inside of her, and then narrowed her eyes at the girl that was the cause of it all. Gemini straightened up and walked right by her without a single word to her.
