Warning: There is a panic attack at the end of this chapter, I've never had one myself but just be warry when reading.

Gemini stared at Willow from across the cafeteria. In all honesty Willow looked like shit, like she hadn’t slept at all the night before. It was the first time Gemini had ever seen any cracks in Willow’s perfect world, though Gemini wouldn’t put it past Willow to have run off in the middle of the night for a booty call with her boyfriend. It would explain the dark bags under Willow’s eyes and why she kept yawning.

“Admiring the view?” Sage asked nudging Gemini a little too roughly and she fell out of her chair. A few people laughed at her making no attempt to hide the fact. Gemini sighed and collected herself and climbed back into her chair.

“Are you gay?” Sage asked munching on that damned chocolate that was so delicious. Gemini ignored her; she was still upset with yesterday after Sage dragged her off campus.

“Sage, stop let me go.” Gemini complained, as Sage continued to drag her away even after everyone was gone. They were walking down the sidewalk away from Gemini’s home and the school; moving towards the upper class homes. Sage tisked her and just continued walking. “I’m not a charity case you know; I won’t become anybody’s charity case.”

“Don’t be stupid Gemini.” Sage finally said, “You’re already a charity case.” She then turned and opened an iron gate fence to a super expensive looking home. It was three stories high and looked old Victorian, the gardens weren’t that well taken care of but it wasn’t an eye sore either.

Sage led her up to the front door and inside. “I want to show you something.” Sage continued as she led Gemini up stairs. “You’re mom isn’t expecting you home or anything tonight right?”

“No, Why?” Gemini questioned letting the caution and skepticism seep into her voice.

“Why because I need you to spend the night, Silly,” Sage shook her head like Gemini had asked a stupid question.

“Well what if I don’t want to spend the night?” Gemini asked.

“Then you’ll never meet the Over Seer.” Sage replied as if it was a simple fact and that sentence didn’t toss Gemini’s world on its side.

  “You know?”

“Of course I know silly Fox. I am after all the Wolf.” Sage flashed a wicked grin as she stripped off her jacket. The name sent shivers up Gemini’s spine. The Wolf was the owner of the bird Gemini had admired for so long. The Wolf is known to be in the Over Seer’s inner circle of people she trusted. Even The Spider didn’t have that privilege and he talked to her all the time he visited the new lights before her.

“You’re the Wolf.” Gemini said dumbly, she really couldn’t think of anything to say. “Wait, how do you know who I am?”

“Don’t ask stupid questions sweetie.” Sage said as she toed off her shoes.

“But, no one talks about their lives. How could you possibly know?” Sage rolled her eyes and started on Gemini’s jacket stripping it off. Gemini let her in her shock of this new information. “Think about it.” Sage said simply and Gemini did.

It only took her a few moments to figure out a theory, if Sage was the Wolf who was trusted by the Over Seer who ran the garden then the Wolf must know things the Over Seer knew, like peoples real names and if the Wolf knew and the Wolf was Sage then Sage would know the Fox’s name which was Gemini.
