Go to hell

Cara's POV

"I told you to stay away from him!" Ryan shouted as he glared at Andy.

"Go to hell! You don't have power over me! This is a free country!" I said through my gritted teeth.

"He's a criminal!" He shouted.

"Does it look like I care? No!" I replied.

"Look I know you hate me and all. But can you not get Cara involved here. She doesn't need to know." Andy told him calmly.

"You! You should have never returned!" Ryan said as he attempted to punch Andy. But I'd anticipated it and stopped it.

I gripped my small hand around Ryan's tightly clenched fist. He stared in shock as I pushed his hands back. Causing him to stumble slightly.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't make such a big scene, I've had a bad day so far and I don't want to add more weeks to my detention," I told him.
"So if you would kindly just walk away and don't piss me off, I'd make your life slightly easier."

"Whatever, I heard what you did. See you in detention." He waved as he walked pass me.

"I won't let you get away with it so easily the next time." I warned him.

~

Detention came. Mrs Fawcett gave me two weeks of it, every single day of the week. How. Wonderful. And sure enough Ryan turned up. It was only the two of us surprisingly.

He sat at a corner, I the other.
The first few days were like that. Until the teacher in charge finally decided that we weren't going to kill each other. She finally bloody left us alone after making sure we turned up.

~

"Look, can we just talk for a moment. Let me explain myself." Ryan said going up to me.

"What's there to talk about?" I grumbled turning my face away.

"I know we started off on a bad footing. But I was having a pretty shitty day that day -"

"That, is a lame excuse."

"Can you just let me finish my sentence for once?" He asked, annoyed.

"Whatever," I mumbled, rolling my eyes.

"Like I said, I was having a pretty shitty day, I was overreacting and thinking irrationally, but what I'm saying about Andy is the truth."

I rolled my eyes again and turned to him.

"He's trying to manipulate you into thinking he's good, but he's not. If you could just listen to me, I can offer you protection-"

I stared at him for a moment and burst into laughter.

"Oh My God! You? Offer me protection? For what? " I said in between laughs.

"I-"

"You clearly haven't seen what I'm capable of, but you could try and test me? I won't mind giving you a ticket to the ER." I told him as my laughter slowly subsided.

"Just, consider it alright." He said letting out a huff of annoyance.

"Yeah, sure." I rolled my eyes once again.

I got out of my seat and went to the door.

The hall way was empty, no a single soul. Perfect.

"You do know that she locks it right?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Of course I know. I'm not that unobservant. She locks it to prevent us from escaping."

"Then what are you doing?" he asked.

I ignored him and grabbed a chair.

"What the -"

Before he could finish his sentence, I threw the chair at the glass window. It shattered into a billion pieces.

"Now if you'd excuse me, I've somewhere to go." I smiled as I climbed out of the window.

"Are you insane?" He shouted.

"No? I'm just off my rockers." I replied.

He stared in shock.

"Move your pretty face!" I shouted as I threw the broken chair back into the classroom. He stepped aside, avoiding the chair. What a shame, it didn't hit him, I thought he would be too shocked.

"Where are you going?" He asked, trying to climb out as well.

"Away from you that's where I'm going!" I screamed, running to my bike.

I left him in a ditch of smoke and sped off.

~

"Where have you been sis?" Jake asked over the phone.

"Oh yeah, didn't tell you. I got detention."

"Obviously. But detention hasn't ended and I can clearly hear the rumbles of your bike." He told him.

"I'm going there. I need some time to cool down." I replied.

"I'll go."

"No. Please don't. I really need to be alone right now." I said.

"Alright. Just don't come back too late, mom and dad allows you doesn't mean you can live there."

"Yeah yeah, I'll be back before 1 am. Don't worry. Talk to you later." I said, putting down the phone.

I cut the engine of my bike and walked into the building. My safe haven. I'm surprised that no one had claimed it before Jake and I discovered it. I mean, it one hell of a good hide out. Away from civilisation. Supposedly under state control but after observing it, it didn't seem to be a problem to claim it.

The exterior of the abandoned office building looked so torn down. Multiple windows smashed, vines growing from pipes and concrete chipped off in chunks. The interior wasn't as bad. All of the furniture was cleared out, leaving 5 empty floors.

I changed into my work out clothes and hung the punching bag up. I took out the bandages from the cardboard and started to wrap my hands.

Adrenaline built up inside of me each time I punched the bag. My hits became more aggressive and hard over time. I lost my senses, focused on relieving my anger.

"Damn you!" I shouted, giving a final punch. The punching bag broke off the hook. I was panting extremely hard by that time. I sighed and dragged the punching bag back to the corner.

"Time to get a new one anyways." I told myself.

I've never been more pissed off in my life. Not only did he dare challenge me but saw me as some weak girl! I trained hard to become what I am today. I won't let him. I won't let anyone. Not again. Not ever.

This is where it starts get in more complicated. It'll be an awesome plan for the book. But also tough.

Also, yes I'm updating one day earlier again cause I won't have the time tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed
