Potential love triangle?
Cara's POV
"So how was the date?" Andy asked as chemistry started.
"Pretty good. It wasn't as cheesy as I thought it would be." I told him.
He nodded before turning back to facing Mr Sullven.
"I'm proud to announce that Andy Holland And Cara Jonson has obtained the highest percentage for the project. The principal would like for both you to share receipt of your smoothie to the cafeteria. She likes the taste and beneficiaries of it." Mr Sullven said.
The class applauded as we sat there awkwardly.
"Do we get the profit?" I asked Mr Sullven.
"Oh yes. Of course. After all, that's how we'll be crediting you for the drink." Mr Sullven replied.
Andy and I hi-fived, and did a little victory dance.
"Ok now let's get on with the next chapter, acids, bases and salts." Mr Sullven told us, earning groans from everyone. The best chapter yet. Damn it. It's sucks.
~
"Ok so let me make this analogies for the reactions involving acids." I said in a serious tone.
"Hit it." Andy laughed.
"When You mix a boy boy and a good girl and they balance each other out like how an acid and base neutralizes each other." I started out.
Andy chuckled. "Ok I think I know the next one. When you react a bad girl with a bad boy, you get a violent reaction to form a salt and hydrogen. Like Group I metals and acid."
"Yeah," I smiled. "It's a dangerous combination."
"Holland, Jonson. Keep quiet!" Mr Sullven scolded.
~
"Meet you at your locker, then we can give the recipe to the cafeteria ladies." I told Andy.
He nodded in response and we parted ways.
"So, how did it go?" Amanda asked as she wiggled her eyebrows. "The date with Ashford of course."
"It was good. It was the first time I could actuallu relax and have fun since I moved here." I told her.
"You must tell me everything!" She squealed in excitement.
"He took me out to dinner then we went to a carnival- " I started out.
"Wait wait wait! Hold on! Let me guess! You guys went on the ferris wheel and kissed?" Amanda butted in.
"Pfffffff no... that's so cheesy. We went to the haunted house." I told her.
"Oh my god what a genius he is!" She squealed.
"And no, it didn't turn out how you think it did. It was way more fun than that." I laughed. "We pranked all the scare actors! Their reactions was hella priceless!"
"Awwww man, I thought you would be so scared that you would have jumped into his arms while he held you protectively." She said.
"Nothing scares me." I told her, gently slapping her on the back.
"Yeah yeah. The Queen of the Badasses has no fear." She mocked.
I wish.
We got to our seat as English started.
"How was the sandwich?" I asked Ryan, when Mr Quinn turned us back to the class to write on the whiteboard.
"It was hella good. You need to make me one everyday. Where did you learn how to make it."
