Cara's POV
"The following Monday? I'm ok with that." I told Andy over the phone.
Ok so I was thinking, maybe a fancy ass restaurant. It'll be on me.
"No way. I'm not gonna pay that much for food." I told him.
I said that it's on me. Besides, it's also to thank you for not, you know, running away from me like everyone else.
"Ok then, if you insist." I sighed.
Oh yeah, your address.
"Right, I forgot. After this call ends." I replied.
Ok cool. See you next week. This is not a date, I promise. I don't want to ruin your relationship with Ryan, even if I hate him.
"Alright I believe you. See you next week. Bye." I said before hanging up.
I walked into the local gym with the intention to get some ideas on how to design the first floor of the training ground.
"Cara?" Someone called out.
I whipped my head around to see Malcolm approaching.
"Ah we meet again." I chuckled.
"It seems so. Just arrived?" He asked.
"Yup. I'm only going to be here for an hour though." I told Malcolm.
"Wanna grab coffee after?"
"Sure."
We talked while using the equipments and I came to realise he was pretty different from Ryan and his gang. They were down right loud and obnoxious while he was rather reserved.
"To be honest, I feel like you're the most approachable and friendly, so I'm just gonna tell you, "I told him.
He raised an eyebrow, but allowed me to continue.
"I'm having dinner the following Monday with Andy. I know you guys hate him and all, but he isn't that bad you know. He's just misunderstood." I said.
"To be honest, I don't hate him that much. I also don't actually know the full details on the fallout. I kinda joined the gang after it happened." Malcolm confessed.
"Really? Wow I didn't know that." I said.
"I mean, if you want to know what happened, ask Ryan. I'm sure he'll tell you." He shrugged.
"Yeah I guess." I replied. "We have at least something in common."

I got home, only to find Ryan sitting at the kitchen table drinking from my mug.
"I thought I asked you to be gone before I got home, " I narrowed my eyes. "Who let you in?"
"I know, but I wanted to talk to you. Your brother let me in. But he went out. Said something about training." He replied.
I grumbled under my breath about Jake being a dumbass.
"Let me wash up and all. Don't come into my room this time." I warned him. "What are you drinking?"
"English tea."
I grabbed my mug from the counter top and drank from it.
"Wh- " He started out. "Ok never mind."
"That's my mug."
~
"So what do you want to talk about?" I asked.
