Y/N'S POV

I watched in horror until Lauren pushed the guy away from her. She stumbled backwards a little as she did so but she didn't seem as faded as earlier. But that was besides the point.

Her emerald eyes searched the room until they landed on mine. The second she moved to come towards me I was already out the door, making the trek back to my car. Tears filled my eyes but I willed them to stay put.

"Y/N!" I fastened my pace once I heard her voice. "Y/N wait it wasn't what it looked like!"

She caught up to me and once she did she gripped my wrist tightly. Once she touched me I flinched out of her grasp and spun around, my anger coursing throughout my body. Lauren's eyes were already pouring tears out of them. "It never is, huh Lauren?" I spat.

"No I mean it! I was just trying to look for you-"

"I don't want to hear it. I'm fucking done. Don't even think of trying to apologize because I don't care anymore. I'm going home." I turned to leave but Lauren gripped my wrist and used all of her weight to stop me from moving.

"No! Y/N listen to me-"

"You listen to me! You just cheated on me! That's unexplainable, inexcusable, all of it! No matter what you say, nothing will change my mind! We're done Lauren. Now leave me alone and let me go." I jerked my arm away from her, swiftly getting away. I reached my car as Lauren's loud sobs rang throughout the street. I decided I had one more thing to say. "I let you in."

My voice was quiet but it shook. "I fucking let you in... and you completely destroyed me." As I finished speaking and Lauren's sobs got louder, the first tear fell out of my eye before being followed by many more. I couldn't stop them as I got into my truck.

Lauren screamed my name and kept telling me to stop. I put the truck in drive and quickly stepped on it as Lauren tried to follow me. With one last look in the rearview mirror, I saw Lauren on her knees in the middle of the street, her hands covering her eyes.

I wiped my eyes furiously, laying my head on the steering wheel once I reached a stoplight. A strangled sob left my throat but I tried to stop more from escaping. When I saw the reflection of the light turning from red to green, I lifted my head and started driving again. God where the hell was I going to stay now?

I came to get hurt
Might as well do your worst to me
Have you come here to get hurt
Have you come to take her away from me

Now is not the fucking time, Brian Fallon. I grumpily changed the song while trying not to cry again. My eyes already burned, along with my throat for trying to hold in my sobs. I just needed to go to bed. Maybe staying at a hotel would be best.

As I made my way to the nearest one, I checked how much cash I had in my wallet to make sure it was enough when I was a stoplight. I soon pulled into the parking lot of the hotel and went inside, getting a room. After I payed for it I made my way there and immediately laid down when I was in the room.

I didn't even want to think about looking in a mirror right now because I already knew that I looked like complete shit. Again, I tried to fall asleep but my phone kept going off. As I went to turn it off I noticed all the texts and calls Lauren was responsible for, but I also saw the ones Dinah was responsible for.
