"ARE you calling me a sinner?" taehyung crossed his arms over his chest, looming over jimin's small stature.

upon arrival, jimin had practically interrogated taehyung on what happened the night before. "seriously, tae." jimin huffed making his cheeks puffy. "what happened last night? why can't i remember anything?" they were both on their way to jimin's dance studio.

he had a class to teach today, and sometimes taehyung would accompany him. today, was one of those days. the younger didn't seem as distressed as his friend did regarding the previous night they shared, yet couldn't fully remember. "like i said, i don't know." taehyung rolled his eyes at the question he'd heard for the tenth time. "maybe we had too much to drink." he suggested with a deep giggle.

"that's the thing, you dork," jimin had to get onto his tippy toes to smack the other's head, "we were sober."

"i wasn't." taehyung sang, offering a goofy smile. he wasn't sure why jimin was worrying so much. it wasn't like anything bad happened to either of them, so he should just let go of whatever was troubling him. taehyung, unlike jimin, liked to go with the flow. if nothing seemed wrong, then why look for a flaw to ruin your day?

"you're such a nut kim taehyung." jimin grumbled, pushing open the glass door to the building. "i got two nuts, too, bro." to jimin's dismay, the younger grabbed a palmful of his crotch. he crinkled up his nose, but a laugh escaped either way. he could never be annoyed with his best friend for too long.

yoongi watched jimin and taehyung disappear inside the building. namjoon sat at his side against his wishes, really not wanting to stalk some random short kid and his shark of a friend. however, being a good little demon, he followed his best friend anyway.

yoongi was crouched on the ledge of the roof, his knees tucked into his chest. he slightly resembled a gargoyle. "choongi." namjoon whined, he used the nickname he gave to yoongi when they were children. it wasn't so much of a nickname as it was namjoon not knowing how to properly speak nor pronounce the other's name.

yoongi's right eye twitched nonetheless. "choongs," namjoon continued and began shaking his friend's arm. "you're a literal demon joon," yoongi hissed, "stop before i push you off the roof and make you clean up your own body parts." he threatened, his eyes going dark.

yoongi was mean when he was hungry—more mean than he was usually. yet this was nothing his friend hadn't grown used to over the years, so he continued to pester him. "min yoongi, reaper of souls." he was hanging onto his arm now, almost dangling from it.

yoongi wasn't a branch, and namjoon wasn't a monkey. so with no effort, yoongi flung him off his arm and sent him falling off the side of the building.

"you're no fun." namjoon's wings sprung from his back in raven feathers. they flapped powerfully in the air keeping him at eye level with yoongi. "and you live to piss me off." the older boy stood now. he stretched out his slim figure that wasn't being concealed by his heavy, dark cloak.

it was a requirement for him to always have his coat on and his scythe present, but yoongi rarely followed those rules. it wasn't as if breaking them would damn him to hell—he was already there, anyway.

"i think you forget that i'm not alive." namjoon dropped beside yoongi on the ledge. they were still facing the building the two younger boys had walked into.

yoongi didn't have much of a plan. he was mainly here because park jimin intrigued him in ways he hadn't been in centuries.

"i think today is the day we join dance class, joon, don't you think?"
