*1 month later*

I finally made enough money to start renting a apartment. I'm so excited. It feels good to work for everything you need or want.

Grace helped me get a apartment. Her uncle owns this whole apartment complex. I'm so thankful to have a friend like her.

I'm getting ready for graduation right now then taking Beth and my stuff to our new home. Beth and my grandma are going to be there. I'n glad they're still here for me. I've also taken custody of Beth. The judge told me that she could live me until our court date then we would go from there. I don't think my mom will show up so I should get her easily.

I slide on my flats and look in the mirror. We have to wear something dressy even though you won't be able to see it. I'm wearing a lacy, black skirt with a flower print shirt. I can still fit in all my clothes right now. You can't even tell I'm pregnant yet. I grab my phone and keys then head out the door.

I make it to the school in record time and hurry inside. I'm almost late. When I reach my classmates, they're already lining up. I get in my spot and wait. A few minutes later, we start walking out.

I spot my grandma and Beth in the crowd. I smile at them then turn my attention back to in front of me. I take my seat and wait for my name to be called.

Thankfully, my last name starts with an A so I get to go up right after the principal finishes his speech. He's talking about how proud he is of us and all that. He finishes the speech and starts calling names. I'm the second one to go up. The boy beside gets up as his name is called. He gets his diploma then walks off stage.

"Graduating with honors, Katie Marie Addison!"

I get out of my seat and walk on the stage. I shake the principals hand and take my diploma. I smile as I walk off stage. I did it. I finally graduated.

Graduation is finally over and I'm leaving. Most of my classmates are going to be getting drunk tonight but not me. I'm going to be moving into my new home and starting my life as a parent. I'm glad that Beth gets to live with me. It's going to be like we're one little family. Me, her, and my baby. I wouldn't want it any other way.
