"Are you sure about this?" I ask.

Thor, Sif, the warriors three, Loki, and I have just gone through the bifrost and we now stand on what looks like a barren moon.

"If Loki is correct, then Thanos should be here," Thor tells me.

Above us, the sky, at least I think that's a sky, is pitch black and starless. The ground beneath is made of some type of rock, and the wind has a bitter taste of metal in it.

"Now what?" Fandral asks, the winds whipping at his blonde hair.

"We jump," Loki says simply.

"Excuse me?" Sif protests.

"Loki, this is no time for games," Thor warns.

"Oh, no. I'm being quite serious."

"You said to jump," I wonder aloud, "But jump where?"

"Up."

"Loki, your not making sense," Volstagg protests.

"Oh, I'm making perfect sense," Loki says smoothly, "Your just not keeping up."

"Loki, enough!" Thor reprimands, "Now tell us how we find this creature."

"I just did."

Thor scowls impatiently and turns his back toward Loki in frustration. Loki is enjoying this.

"We could search for him," Hogan suggests.

Thor agrees and we all take off. Almost it all of us.

I follow the group and turn around to check on Loki but he hasn't budged.

"Loki, c'mon!" I tell him as I run back to him. I grab his hand and pull.

"Lets go!" I yell, "Your supposed to stay with me and that mean you follow me."

"No, your supposed to stay with me."

"What's the difference?" I sigh.

"If I was supposed to stay with you, I'd follow you. But if you were supposed to stay with me, then you'd follow me."

"Yeah, that's nice. But I like the first one."

"But the Alfather said the later. Did he not?"

"Wait, how do you know that?" I ask suspiciously.

"I have my ways."

"You weren't Odin, were you?"

He laughs a little and then says, "No, not this time."

"C'mon Loki, we have to follow them."

"No."

"No?"

"No."

"Why not?" I ask getting more annoyed by the second.

He doesn't answer me, but instead stares me down. I try to return this dominative gesture, but his green eyes seem to burn a hole right through me.

"Fine," I sigh, hating this more and more, "We'll stay."

"Great," he tells me, "Now jump."

"Are you seriously still set on that?"

"Just jump."

"Fine," I say and grab his hand, "On three. One, two, three!"

We jump simultaneously and then freeze. Nothing happens.

"Really Loki?" I protest.

"Shhh, just wait," he says and then adds, "You can let go of my hand now."

I had forgotten that I was holding it.

"Oh, sorry," I mumble, embarrassed.

Suddenly the ground beneath us begins to groan and shake.

"What the heck was that?" I ask, feeling my heart start to race.

Loki's face is scared.

"You alright?"

He merely swallows and says, "He's here."
