"He's here," Loki gulped.
"Who?" I ask.
He didn't respond but instead stood tense, as if poised to strike.
"You alright?"
He turns to me and quickly says, "He will take me and let me talk it over with him. Do not be in the room with him and me."
"Why not?"
Loki's piercing eyes turn a soft green. He is afraid. No. He is terrified.
"What will he do to you?" I ask, afraid of what his answer will be.
"Just, do as he says, and do not stay with me."
Just then something in the corner of my eye catches my attention. I turn to see what it is an find a scaly, long, rock, moving along the surface of the moon.
"What is that?" I ask Loki.
But his attention is no where near the moving rock. He stares strait ahead, as if expecting something to jump out at him. I intertwined my fingers with his shaking ones. His gaze is momentarily torn away from the spot in front of him, and is placed on me. He then wraps his fibers around mine, and turns back.
For a moment nothing appears. And then the moon around us starts to disappear.
"What's happening?" I gasp as the wind picks up at incredible speed.
"Teleportation," Loki says.
"Wow, you guys have it? I wish we-"
I am cut off by the new surroundings. We are no longer on the barren moon, but I think we are under it.
"Laufeyson," a voice says. I gasp and turn to see who said that, only to find the most weirdest thing I've seen yet.
In front of us stands, what looks like some distant relative of a human. It is six feet tall, very stocky, and has a reddish face, with lines running down it. Thanos.
"I'm surprised you dared to show your face within a thousand miles of this place," it says to Loki, "After you failed with New York and all.
"And oh, I see you brought a little friend," he says when he sees me, "Charming."
"Thanos," Loki says, regaining the cool air that he is known for, "Lovely to see you to."
"I've been searching for you, Laufeyson," Thanos tells him,"I specifically told you that if you failed on Earth, then there would be no moon, no far-off planet, and no realm where I couldn't find you."
"Yes, but you weren't able to do that were you. I've been in Asgard this whole time, and the only way you found me, is me coming to you. That's a little disappointing, Thanos, even for you," Loki says cooly.
Thanos growls at him and then turns to me, "No, who is this pretty little friend of yours?"
"Pretty, little friend?" I blurt out, mad at him, "I-"
Loki tightens his grip on my hand to silence me.
"She has nothin to do with this," Loki tells Thanos, "She was merely caught in the crossfire."
"Ah, I see," Thanos says, "Well she'll make a nice trophy in my dungeon."
Before I can react, something from behind me grabs my arms and starts to pull me away.
"Wait!" I yell, causing Thanos's conversation with Loki to be interrupted.
"I'm kinda like his guard," I tell Thanos, referring to Loki,"He's on prison watch, and I'm supposed to be with him at all times."
I swear I could hear Loki sigh when I said that.
"A prison guard, huh?" Thanos asks,"Well then, you are welcome to watch our negotiations."
The creature behind me, releases it grip when Thanos signals it.
"Now then," Thanos growls happily, "Lets begin."
"You're an idiot," I hear Loki whisper to me when I reach my place next to him.
"I know."
