"Oh, you mean the reality gem?" Thanos asks, "I don't have it."
"What?" I gasp. How could he not have the gem that we came all this way for?
"Enough tricks, Thanos," Loki growls.
"Oh, that's rich coming from the god of mischief," Thanos mocks, "But I'm not joking."
Thor, with some difficulty, stands up. Even at his full height, Thanos is not taller than Thor.
"Fine," Thor says, "Where are my friends?"
"Aren't they right here? Oh, wait. No, that's just your annoying little brother and his girlfriend."
"Where are they?" Thor demands again.
Thanos sighs and says, "You're no fun."
"I'm gonna ask you again," Thor warns.
"Easy," Thanos says and then points behinds him, "They're over there."
Thor limps towards Sif and the warriors three, who sit in the shadows, almost unnoticeable.
"Where is the reality gem?" Loki spits, half scary the life out of me.
"Oh, that. I've already told you, I don't have it."
"Then who does?" Loki growls.
"Someone we all should fear."
Those words just seem to have the ability to strike fear into anyone, including Loki. I could see it in his face.
"We've had enough!" Thor growls from behind Thanos, with Sif and the warriors three with him, "Loki lets go."
Loki nods and struggles to get up. I help him and lead him to the tunnel near by.
"You can't leave!" Thanos yells.
"Oh, yes we can!" I turn and yell back.
A look of surprise flashes on his face, then a smirk replaces it.
"Loki," I whisper when we finally exit Thanos' layer, "That was to easy."
"I know," he whispers back, "Keep your eyes open for anything unusual."
Just then I remembered the unusual rocks I had seen earlier when I first got here.
"Like those slithering rocks I saw earlier?" I ask.
"You saw- if you see them again, just tell me."
I nod as he walks over to Thor.
We are walking on the plain of the barren moon. All around us is rock and random structures that look like dilapidated sculptures.
"Thor," I hear Loki whisper, "Remember the Avengers?"
"Now's not the time for that, Loki," Thor replies.
"But the Chitari, they worked for Thanos. He has control of their armies."
"What are you trying to say?"
"He let us off to easily, he could have the Chitari come after us easily."
Suddenly the ground begins to shake, and something catches my attention, in the corner of my eye.
"Loki!" I call out, "It's here! The slithering rock!"
