I don't know where I am. I know that Thanos is controlling my fears, but I don't know which ones.
It's black around me. I search for my mom and dad, or for bugs or snakes, but find none. Only darkness stares back at me.
"Hello?" I call out.
I see a figure step out of the shadows with a smirk on his face. Loki.
"Uh, hi?" I say, completely confused.
He does not respond but instead walks toward me silently. When our faces are inches apart, he presses his lips against mine, totally catching me off guard.
Though surprising as it is, it seemed almost right. Just when I start to enjoy it, I feel a sharp pain in my side and I immediately crouch down.
Blood is seeping between the cracks of my fingers. I look up at Loki for help, but instead see what I wanted least.
Loki stands above me, still wearing his traditional smirk, holding a knife in his hand that is covered in blood. My blood.
My vision becomes blurry as I fall sideways on the ground. He killed me.
The last thing I see is his victorious smirk. Then all goes black. I am dead.
I gasp and open my eyes. I am no longer dying, but instead in Thanos' layer, with Loki lying unconscious beside me.
I back away from him as quickly as I can, remembering the dream vividly.
I hear laughter and turn to see Thanos laughing at my anxiety.
"Enjoy your little dream?" he smirks, "I made it specially for you."
Behind me, Thor stirs from his collapsed position on the ground.
"Another customer," Thanos says as he leaves me and goes to Thor.
Thor wakes up gasping for air. He looks at me with terror and pleading in his eyes.
"How was your nap?" Thanos asks him mockingly. Honestly, I think this guy just lays in bed at night and thinks of new things to say to the people he tortures.
Thor looks around the room as if he doesn't know where he's at yet.
"It's okay," I say to him, "It's over."
"Oh, I'm afraid your wrong, Blondie," Thanos tells me, "It's not over. It's only just begun."
"I have a name," I tell him, completely annoyed at his cheesy lines.
"It's Skylar," I lie.
"Oh, I know your name," he says, "Remember, I've been in your mind. You're name is Sigyn Addison."
As if I already didn't know that.
"Pleasure to meet you," I say sarcastically.
"Oh, please. The pleasure was all mine."
I scoff at this just as Loki awakes. He is panting and sweating. He stares up at me and the look in his eyes almost makes me forget my nightmare.
His eyes are a soft green, with a pleading look in them. He wants to be loved.
"Well, now that we're all here," Thanos says, "Lets chat."
"Lets not," I snap at him.
"Ooh, someone has a bad attitude. Better watch your mouth or you're gonna have to take another nap. And I'm pretty sure you don't want that."
"Where's the reality gem!" Thor yells, now fully awake.
"The what?" Thanos asks innocently.
"You know," Loki snarls.
"Oh, the little gem that changes the laws of reality? I'm afraid I don't have that."
