Baby Isabella

Chapter 7

Edward's POV:

Carlisle called a family meeting after Bella was put in her bed for the night. I already knew what we were going to talk about.

Everyone had gathered into the living room, all except for Alice, of course. She was out shopping for Bella's birthday. The only reason Carlisle didn't make her come, is because she already knew what was going to happen.

"I already know that Edward knows why we are here," Carlisle said, "I would like to discuss Bella."

"What about Bella?" Esme asked.

"Why was she all alone in the middle of no where?" he asked.

"Nobody was around, I would have read their thoughts," I said, "I didn't smell anyone either."

"Well, someone had to put her there." Rosalie said.

"Exactly. Maybe there is a small chance that a vampire could have put her there. Maybe the vampire can hide their scent." Carlisle said.

"I don't think so." I responded.

"I know, but it is the best idea we have." Carlisle said.

We heard Alice come back and I rolled my eyes, listening to her thoughts.

I sighed and started walking upstairs. I got to Bella's room as Alice and Rosalie popped up behind me.

"Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, and Jasper are all going hunting." Rosalie said.

"Ok" I said.

They were still standing there, staring at me. It was weird. Not as weird as most other things they had done, but still weird.

"Is there something else?" I asked.

"We want to dress Bella." Alice said clapping.

"No, she is sleeping." I said.

"Come on. Move." Alice complained.

"No" I said, not budging.

"Fine. We'll wait until she wakes up." Rosalie said, grabbing Alice's wrist and dragging her away.

I chuckled and walked into Bella's room. She was sleeping soundly. She was so small and precious. I wish we knew where she came from.

Her eyes opened and she burst into tears. I picked her up and kept rocking her. She wouldn't stop crying and I was starting to panic. Alice and Rosalie ran in.

"What's going on?!" Rosalie asked.

"She had a nightmare." Alice said.

She grabbed Bella from me and took her downstairs. Rose and I followed her to the kitchen, where she gave Bella a bottle. Bella took the bottle and stopped crying.

"One way to calm a baby down, is to feed it." She said triumphantly.

She smiled and handed Bella to me.

"Thanks Alice." I said as I took Bella back to her room and sat in the rocking chair.

I really need to get baby advice from Alice, Rose, and Esme.
