Bella's POV

School passed by in a boring and uneventful blur. I made a few friends and turned down a quite a few dates, most of which were offered by a relentless Mike. Before I knew it, winter break had arrived.

I was walking with my family to the cars after the final bell had rung, signaling the beginning of the break. I was overjoyed that I could have a break from this wretched place.

"Incoming" Alice said. Edward growled, seeing what she was, and I groaned knowing exactly what was about to happen.

"Bella!" I heard a call from behind me. I turned on my heel to see Mike running up behind us.

I sighed and put on a fake smile as he approached.

"What's up, Mike?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me over break." He grinned. He probably assumed that since I didn't have any school work to keep me away, I would finally go out with him. However, I was prepared.

"Sorry Mike. I can't. I have some family visiting from Alaska and we have to get ready for them to arrive and then I plan on spending as much time with them as possible. I am booked for the whole break, sorry." I explained.

He frowned like it was the first time I turned him down again.

"Alright. Have fun." He grumbled.

"You too." I replied.

He walked away and I turned back to my family.

"Will he ever stop?" I moaned.

"No time soon. He is already planning the next time to ask you." Edward grumbled.

I sighed. We started walking towards the cars again and we all climbed in and drove home.

I walked into the doors at home and threw myself down on the couch.

"Finally." I sighed.

"Excited for a break, I see?" Esme laughed, walking into the room.

"You have no idea." I mumbled.

"You deserve it." Esme smiled.

"When will Aunt Carmen and Uncle Eleazar get here?" I asked.

"Wednesday, Christmas Eve" Alice beamed, plopping herself on the chair across from me.

"Cool." I said.

I hadn't seen Aunt Carmen, Uncle Eleazar, or my cousins Tanya, Kate, and Irina in about 3 years. I was excited to finally see them again.

The next couple of days passed quickly. We got ready for the arrival of our family and finished putting up Christmas decorations.

I eagerly waited in the living room Wednesday evening for the rest of our family to arrive. I missed them so much and I couldn't wait to see them.

"They will be here in thirty seconds" Alice squealed excitedly.

I jumped up and ran towards the door. By the time I got there, they were already through the door.

"I missed you all." I beamed and brought Carmen and Eleazar into a big hug.

"Bella, you have grown up so much." Carmen exclaimed, hugging me back.

"You've grown to be a beautiful young woman." Eleazar complimented.

"Thank you." I blushed.

I turned and hugged each of my cousins. Telling them how excited I was to see them.
