Baby Isabella

Chapter 11

Edward's POV

Bella is now seven years old. For about two years we have been avoiding questions like, "Why are you faster than me?" Or, "Why don't you eat anything?" Now we are finally going to tell her what we are.

All of us are gathered in the living room waiting for Bella to finish eating lunch. We decided to tell her as a family, so I was hearing mixed thoughts around me.

'What if she is afraid of us? I hope she doesn't run off.' I heard Esme think.

'I hope she doesn't want to become like us. I don't want her to lose what I did.' Rosalie thought.

Alice was being Alice and thinking about shopping and what she was going to wear tomorrow, not even worrying about what was about to happen.

Emmett, of course, was thinking about using this to scare Bella.

Jasper was thinking about how he would help Carlisle teach Bella about us and Carlisle was thinking about how not to scare her.

Bella finished eating and walked out to sit with us.

"Are you hungry? You don't eat so you have to be hungry." Bella said. She walked to me and poked my stomache.

I picked up Bella and sat her on my lap.

"No, I'm not hungry." I replied.

"Bella we want to tell you something. Please don't be scared." Carlisle said, looking at Bella seriously.

"Um, ok" Bella hesitated.

Carlisle took a deep breath.

"You have been asking us why we are faster, stronger, colder, or never hungry." He started.

Bella nodded.

"We are vampires, Bella. We can move really fast and we don't eat food." Carlisle explained slowly.

Bella giggled. "Your joking." She said.

I looked at Bella. "No Bella, he's not joking." I said.

Bella turned to look at me with a confused look on her face. She then looked at the others.

"I'm confused." She stated.

"Bella, we are vampires. We drink only animal blood and we can't go out in sunlight." Esme said.

"Will you die?" Bella said with slight panic.

"No" Esme laughed.

Bella smiled.

"It all makes sense now." She exclaimed.

"So, your not scared?" Emmett said, pouting a little.

"No, you won't hurt me." She stated.

Esme smiled, stood up, and grabbed Bella off my lap.

"Are you sure you're ok?" She asked Bella.

"Ya. I just need to get used to it." Bella answered.

Esme sat back down with Bella.

"Bella, you need to promise that you will never, ever tell anyone we are vampires." Esme said.

"Never ever?" Bella asked.

"Never ever." Esme answered.

"Ok" Bella smiled.

It is better now that Bella knows what we are. I just hope this doesn't become a problem later.

Hey guys. Sorry the chapter is so short. I have been busy. I am so thankful for all of you. The chapter would have been longer but I thought you guys deserved an update.
