Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki x Reader

Chapter 15

3rd person view

A ghoul with white hair was dressed casually and was not wearing his usual dark clothing. He sat at a table staring blankly out the café window, as a clattering sound came from behind the counter. "Oi! Look what you did!" Nishio snapped at the female server who had dropped a tray filled with plates and forks. "I-I'm sorry!" She replied shaking in fear from the male server's crude voice. "Clean it up before we have a customer!" Nishio demanded turning away from her and letting out a huge sigh. "Still rude as ever...She's still learning" Koma spoke as he entered the room. "Kaneki your still hanging around? we might as well put you to work!" Koma said as he noticed Kaneki in the corner. Nishio sighed and began brewing a pot of coffee. "Your putting to much water, Nishio" Koma stated as he watched Nishio from behind. "Stop watching then" "oh how painful I don't know if I can watch" Koma speaks in his monotone voice. "Turn away then" Nishio hissed.  Nishio looked up at the female server, "No don't do that!" Nishio shouted as the girl server began to set down a tray of knives on the edge of the counter, his shouting didn't help either and there went the knives on the floor. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" "aww I'm sorry!!!" she cried out as she quickly picked them up and took them to the sink. 

Kaneki stood up when Touka entered the café. "How...is she?" Kaneki asked looking away from Touka. "She's still asleep. I think we should find a doctor for her. She should of have woken up by now." Touka stated her worry. Kaneki had brought (Y/N) to Anteiku for safety and recovery. It had been two days since they had arrived and (Y/N) still hasn't woken up. "Thank you...Touka for everything" he whispered then walked past her and headed up stairs.

Kaneki sat next to (Y/N) still form. Her chest rising and gently falling at every breath she let in and out. "You need to wake up (Y/N)" Kaneki whispered. "Why wont you wake up?"

Third person/(Y/N) Point of view

The water glistened brightly as the suns rays bounced off the moving blue ripples, making the water look twice as more beautiful then it really was. (Y/N) sat in the grass just watching the water gently move down the river to wherever it may lead. "(Y/N) I knew I'd find you here" (Y/N) turned her head seeing Kaneki walking towards her. "Kaneki?" (Y/N) whispered. "How?-" "How did I find you? easy you always come here" Kaneki replied as he sat next to her. His white hair was shining brightly as some of the sun rays hit it just right. The tree's that surrounded them stood still as if they waited for the two ghouls to talk. "Can you believe we've survived" (Y/N) whispered then laid back, staring up at the leaves admiring how there was beauty in each leaf. "This place is Harmony...so...peaceful" (Y/N) whispered, closing her (E/C) eyes. "(Y/N)!" a high voice called out. A young girl came running up to the two ghouls. "Natsumi? what's the matter?" (Y/N) asked worried something must of happened. "I made you this!" Natsumi laughed and she held out beaded bracelet. "I thought something happened" you let out sigh of relief "How did you even? how did you find the materials to make this?" (Y/N) asked as she took the bracelet from her sister. "Haku bought me a kit and I wanted to make you it! see we match" she held her wrist up showing (Y/N) her bracelet as well. The two bracelets matched. "Thank you" (Y/N) smiled brightly, (Y/N) just smiled completely forgetting that this reality was nothing more then her own creation, all she wanted was there and there was no way to bring her out of her own trap, she had locked herself in her own dream world.

3rd person view the real world.

The ghoul doctor examined (Y/N) eyes and her pulse. He had performed several other tests before hand and was beginning to finish up. Kaneki was leaning on the wall watching the doctor do his job. Touka was with Hinami sitting on a small couch. The doctor stood from were he was sitting. "So?" Touka began, but stopped when the doctor shook his head. "I have no idea. she passes every test." "So how bad is her condition then?" Touka asked "That's just it. She is perfectly fine." Kaneki clenched his fist. "There is nothing wrong with her." "Well clearly there is something wrong!" Touka stated, frustration in her voice. "Has Ms. (Y/N) been through any trauma the past week? anything that could of I don't know, like put serious stress on her or something that has changed??" The doctor asked. Everyone was silent. (Y/N) reasons for being there was business for Aogiri. And she was betrayed by a family friend and then was plunged in water which she was terrified of, no one said anything. "Some work and family troubles." Touka muttered. "Hmm" The doctor turned towards (Y/N) sleeping form. "I'll come back in a few days. We can see if there was any changes then. Let me know if she wakes or if she begins to have seizures." Touka walked the doctor down stairs leaving Hinami and Kaneki behind. "I'm sure she will wake up" Hinami said with a small smile on her face. Kaneki nodded hoping to shake off the painful weighing feeling on his heart.

(Y/N) view

There you were sitting on the old fashioned sofa. Listening to Natsumi tell Haku all about her adventure around the park that day. "And then! oh you wouldn't believe it I saw a bird with pink feathers!" Haku laughed "Oh really? pink feathers?" he asked. "Yes!" Natsumi said with a big cheery grin. "Isn't that right (Y/N)?" Natsumi asked turning her head towards you. "Yeah it was a pink bird!" you laugh. "I feel like your both lying" Haku whispered under his breath "Noooo" Natsumi teased. Kaneki walked in with a paper bag. "Hey!" Natsumi welcomed. You stood up and walked over towards them. "Hey" you say. "Hi" Kaneki whispered as you walked up closely to him, knowing full well it would make his face flush pink. "What's in the bag?" you ask. "Books" he replied shakily as he slowly handed you the bag. "Oh really" you raise an eye brow and look in the bag. "Ah...you were right." you say turning around with the bag and heading back for the sofa. You jump when you hear a shattering noise. You turn around seeing a shattered glass on the ground, as if the noise had triggered something, the entire room went grey and black and hollow. and within a blink of an eye everything was normal. no grey or black walls, no hollowness, no shattered bottle. Only Kaneki, Natsumi, and Haku standing there staring at you. "What's the matter sis?" Natsumi asked. "Uh" you couldn't shake the feeling like you just saw something. "No-nothing" you laugh shaking the feeling off.

Kaneki view.

I stood still I had hit the coffee mug off the table in (Y/N) room. It lay on the floor in tiny little shattered pieces. I couldn't control my frustration. I just stood there silently as anger  and frustration built up and now the coffee mug  had suffered for it.
