Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki x Reader

Chapter 12

The darkness slowly filled the sky as the sun gently fell behind the mountain tops of Japan. Leaving the city lights of Tokyo blur out the stars.  There your team stood in the dark alley ways.  "Okay. Everyone" you began whispering your orders. "Remember we want Dr. Ling alive. We get in and get out" You say as you shiver a split second as you heard the ocean waves smash against the rock wall. You took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "Alright lets begin."

The dock was covered with engineering tools, couple of huge cranes and escalators. A building 30 feet up was held up by five metal stilts. The building had an entire wall made up of windows, dark tan curtains blocked all view. The only way up was the front door of the building that had a small stair case in the far back left behind the building. There were four guards, guarding the bottom of the stairs and two at the doorway, a couple of guards on the roof, and a few spread out on the docks. "Satoko and Yun, you guys make noise on the far side of the dock. Get a few officers to go over and take them out silently. Then move on to the next. Shin and I will deal with the remaining guards by the stairs." You say as Yun and Satoko nod while putting on their masks  and  soon disappear.

Shin and you wait in the dark both putting on your masks and waiting for the officers to move. Five minutes later a loud crackling noise sounded from the far side of the dock. "Go check it out" an officer ordered three of his men. "I'll take the ones on the roof and the ones by the door." You say as you slip behind some nearby crates and make your way to the building.

You were behind the building now, your kagune slowly made its way out of your fingers and you threw the kagune strings up latching on the ceiling. You see Shin watching you. You held out your other hand and began counting down from five with your fingers. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You pulled yourself up onto the ceiling. Shooting your kagune's into both of the ccg officers heads so that they wouldn't make noise, then you carefully pulled their bodies back. You soon stood above the door where the other two guards were. You slowly move your kagune's down the wall. Then letting them wrap around both of the guards necks, killing them within seconds then pulling their bodies above the rooftop and laying them next to the other bodies.

Once you finished, you saw Shin taking care of the guards at the bottom of the stairs. "A ghoul?!" the guards gasp aiming their weapons at her as she took one of them out. You used your kagune and shot it down at one of the guards legs knocking him over. "Two of them?" the other guard gasped aiming his weapon at you. You raise your hand and wave  goodbye to him, and at that moment Shin took him and the one on the floor out with both her kagune's. You nod then jump off the roof landing next to the door. Shin quietly made her way up. Throwing her fist in the air. "Woo we're awesome" she whispered. "Okay. Ready?" Shin nods you both prepare yourselves. Then you opened the door.

"Put your hands in the air!" you demand as Shin and you barge in. There were five officers in the room and a man that looked like the doctor. "Dr. Ling?" you ask the one that looked like the doctor, he raised his hand. "Your coming with us" the officers  made a wall between you and the doc. "We wont let you take him." One guard said raising his gun up. You sigh then with your kagune grabbed a nearby desk and swung it into the line of guards knocking them all into the wall. "Please come with us Dr. Ling" you state as you bring your kagune back. "O-okay! please don't hu-hurt me" Dr. Ling pleaded as he slowly moved towards you. "Shin" you say as your grab ahold of Dr. Ling, wrapping your kagune around his wrists like handcuffs. "On it" Shin said as she gathered every single piece of paper work off the desks and put them in her bag. "okay lets get going"

VROOOOOOOOOOM

You hear some kind of machine outside. "Shin did you hear that?" "hear what?" You look at the curtains seeing a bright red light appear behind it. "Get down!" you shout pushing Dr. Ling down, right as the windows shatters. A huge armored suit broke through. "A suit?!" Shin gasped. The armored suit was painted a dark brown and had black strips lining its arms and legs. It lifted its arms at you and at Shin. "They wont kill me!" Dr. Ling tried getting out of your grasp.  "Shut it" you snap as you hear the clinking sound of the bullets beginning to rotate. You quickly whip a nearby desk in front of you as the bullets went off. "Why are you shooting at me?!" Dr. Ling cried out as he covered his ears. "Shin!" you shout for Shin, who was hiding behind a desk a couple feet from you. "Take him" You say as you slowly move the desks together. "What?! no way we can make a break for it." Shin argued. "No we wont make it. Here take him" You thrust Dr. Ling into Shin. "(Y/N)!" Shin gasped. "I'll give you enough time okay. Go when I move." You promise. 

You tighten your mask on. You could hear your heart beating faster as the adrenaline kicked in. You ran out, Shooting your kagune out from both hands wrapping around the suits guns and pulled them away. "Go now" you ordered. Shin nodded and took Ling out the door. You soon realized you pulled the guns your way and jumped back. Jumping behind the desk closest to you. Your kagune's came back. The bullets kept clinging against the metal desks. You knew the desk would give way soon. You looked at your surroundings. A broken shard of glass leaned against the wall. You could see the armored suit in its reflection. It stopped shooting and appeared to be reloading. "Weakness, weakness?" you looked in the shard hoping to see any weakness in the armor. When you saw that the armor didn't fully cover the body. You could most certainly, get your kagune through it but the problem was getting close enough to see where exactly to strike. You took a deep breath and got ready to jump over the desk when a loud noise split the room and the armor suit shot forward. You gasped as the armor suit was a good three feet away. You jumped away as the bullet shot out at you. A bullet grazed your left leg making you fall to the side.  Should heal in a minute you thought to yourself. Bullets continued to shoot rapidly towards you, making you jump through the window out of the high building. You shot your right hands kagune at a metal pole trying to break your fall, A bullet hit your kagune snapping it in half, making you fall the remaining ten feet, you rolled onto your back absorbing the full force.

Zroooooom

You hear metal clanking behind you, you could tell the machine had landed on the ground. You slowly turned facing the machine. "Come on then" you grumbled putting your kagune's out of your hands. The machine lifted up its armored arms, the revolvers inside began turning and bullets sprayed out. You ran to the side and flinging your left hand towards the machines leg. I have to get close to be able to pin point its weakness you thought to yourself as you jumped up and with your left kagune attached to his leg pulled yourself closer. You landed two feet away from the machine and within a split second you saw his entire armored side. 

The armored arm struck down making you jump away retracting your kagune as well. "That's some nifty gear you have there" You taunt as you crack your neck. "Is it really unbreakable?" you smirk behind your mask as the armored suit moves to face you. You had seen the weakness. The weakness inside the armor that could change this entire battle within seconds. "You have a very unique kagune" The metal armor speaks in a metallic voice. "Aw so you can talk!" you speak in a high voice. "Its the last voice you'll hear. I promise to make use of your remains when your gone" "you sound so sure...and cocky!" your voice had cracked on the last word. "Hah" the metal armor laughed. While you had been talking to the armor your kagunes had slipped down behind your legs and hid within the shadows, and had successfully been going within the armor suit.

When you were close to him you saw holes maybe two centimeters big on the sides. You assumed they were on both sides, and luckily for you, you were correct. "Don't underestimate me" you grumbled. "Check mate" and with that you pulled your hands together making the armor make a disturbing bending sound, and in one smooth motion moved your hands outwards pulling the metal off him. "No..way" a grumbling voice gasped from the heap of metal left over. Your kagune's retracted as you walked towards him "I am very unique...I'm a ghoul after all" you smile wide behind your mask then kick him in the gut sending him into a pole. "Now tell me what you know about Dr. Ling" You order. The CCG officer half laughed half coughed. "What's so funny?" you ask, but before he answered-

"No how about you tell us about you?" a metallic voice asked behind you. You felt a fast breeze behind you, pushing your hair forward. You whipped around moving your arm to block, but by then it was to late and the armored arm hit you in the face thrusting you twenty feet away. Your mask shattered from impact of the hit.

You cough, blood dripping from your lips. "Frack" you grumbled as you slowly looked up seeing another metallic suit stand before you.
