Where is Your Heart?

I'd like to ask:
Why do you pull away?
Why do you feel so averse?
Why?

Well, I guess I am in no position to ask,
but they sense you don't feel comfortable.
Is it them for which you feel ashamed?
Are ashamed of them?

I'm curious.
I feel no contempt,
only concerned
because it was so abrupt.

I know I shouldn't worry,
but they just depend on you,
Don't you know that?
