Chapter 37

Chapter 37- I do

~ Greggory's P.O.V ~

"Today is Scarletie and Chad's wedding. The month had went by very quickly. Do you kno that I have moved on, but even though I have, it feels like I can't ever forget about her. I don't think I can love someone like how I loved her." I sigh and turn to my side where Alice sat. She stared of the distance lost in thought.

"Erm. Im sorry that I bored you." I say noticing myself chattering about my feeling and how she was barely listening.

She turns to look at me staring at me with her large chocolate eyes, "Gregg, what if I tell you I could help you get your mind off of Scarletie. Would you trust me?"

"I don't think that could happen. It's impossible." I say honestly.

She looks at me frustrated and she stands up, "Just close your eyes."

"It I don't going to work."

"Be quiet!" She rolls her eyes,"Just trust me." She says softly.

I let out a long sigh and close my eyes. I sit there patiently waiting. I want to peek but each time I try she hits me softly. A few seconds pass and I feel a warm peck onto my lips. I flutter my eyes open and stare in shock at Alice.

She looks away not making any eye contact, "Greggory, take responsibilities, that was my first kiss." She confessed and starts to blush.

She quickly turns around and walks away in her red dress. She walks quickly fleeing the scene. Have I just kissed my bestfriends sister? Chad is going to kill me!

But I don't care, she had made the inpossible possible. I actually liked it, it was a diffrent kiss. A quick but sweet one. I never believed that she had felt this way towards me. If I reflect back to all the times when I told her about the girls I dated I noticed she was a bit irritated. Those rumors about her liking me were actually true ...

~ Chad's P.O.V ~

A few weeks has passed and I look more mature than I have ever had. I look at the tall mirror and smile at myself, I am dressed up nicely in a white leather suit. I wore a white silk tie and a black silk buttoned up shirt. I have never looked my best, its not only because of the suit, its because today is our wedding day. I feel estatistic but the same time very nervous. I just hope I don't embarrass myself in front of everyone.

I hear a knock on the door and in enters a lovely lady dressed also in white. The thoughts about making a fool of myself had vanished, I don't care how much if an idiot I could make of myself, atleast I get to marry her. She looks beautiful that I had to remind my self to breath. Her hair was in a high bun decorated with small white ribbons. A few strands of rich large curls were left down on the side of her full rosey checks. Her round cheeks bend forming her sweet smile she gives me as she walks towards me handing me a dead rose.

I look at her confused. She was supposed to bring me a fresh flower to place in my front pocket of my suit. She notices my stare but Scarletie keeps on smiling.

"Don't you remeber this rose?" She ask. I shake my head answering dull no. Am I suppossed to know?

"Chad." She wines, "Don't you remember? This is the rose you gave me a month ago."

She blushes remembering the memory, "Its the rose you gave me to apoligize, well you actually threw it on the ground."At the last part she looks a bit down.

"I didnt actually mean-" I start but she cuts me off.

"I know, Chad." She says smiling again.

"But isn't it supposed to be brown by now?" I ask in confusion as I look down at a dull red wilting petals.

"Well no, but yeah." I stare at her as I feel myself become even more confused.

She takes the rose from my hand placing it on her palms. "Just watch and learn." She says winking at me.

She then closes her eyes and green light starts to spark from her finger tips. I become worried last time she did this she had fainted.

"Please stop.?"

She opens her eyes, a glowing green swims in the ocean of her eyes, "Dont worry I have been practicing."

As she says that her eyeball fills in with a green glow. Even her strands of her curls begin to glitter and float off her shoulders. A green glow travels throughout her entire body as she grows brighter but enough for my eyes to handle.

I stared in awe at how her body glowed and shimmered, that I to distracted to notice the rose healing. The glow started to quickly fade and the brown petals turned into a bright red. I was paralyzed in shock and could carry my jaw off the ground. She turns her back towards me to cut the now green step and places it into my pocket.

She finally looks up at me and smiles, her eyes twinkling and excited asking me to say something to her like how a puppy begs to get his belly scratched. It was breathtaking so it took me a wile to build up a compliment to say.

"That. That was incredible!" I yell.

It truly was.

She blushes, "Thank you."

Scarletie looks adorably cute when she blushes. I pull her closer towards me and lean in to try and give her a kiss but she quickly leans away from me. I get dissapointed and notice the look in her eyes.

"Scarletie, did I rush things!" I ask knowing that I have.

"No! Not at all!" She shakes her head laughing at me, ".. It just that-"

She looks down and starts again but this time seriously, "Chad, I feel horrible. I noticed that I have never have told you this before..." She says trailing off.

I become worried, "You know you could tell me anything. Tell me what it is, Scarletie?"

....She stays quiet but finally gives in.

"I never got to say that...

... that I love you."

I throw my head back and laugh. She got me worried about this!

"Aren't you mad?" She asks.

"Of course not.. I could already feel your love."

She blushes again and bats her red lashes. I get closer and pull her into a hug intertwining my body with hers. I breath in her natural fragrance. I hold her head gently and plant a kiss on her forehead.

"I love you too, Scarletie."
