(3rd Person)

It all started a little while after her Glee reunion earlier. Mr. Schuester sent Camila and Puck to scout out more people to audition. Twelve was a good number, but they needed to make sure they had enough options. Puck took the east and north side of campus while Camila took the south and west side.

Camila wondered the somewhat filled hallways of students and came across a sophomore cheerio. Though she was now really good friends with two cheerios, plus this girl was a sophmore, she was still a little scared. Camila simply cleared her throat, stood up straight, and walked over. "Hey! My name is Camila, and I'm in Glee Club." She held her hand out nervously. But surprisingly, the cheerio took her hand and shook it. "I'm Brooklynn. It's nice to meet you." Her green eyes flashed a sense of kindness to Camila. "Well, uh, we need a new girl to be apart of the group and compete at competitions. Would you like to audition?" Camila asked. "Oh my gosh I'd love to! I have been obsessed with you guys!" She exclaimed grabbing the papers as the other cheerios began to swarm around her and Brooklynn.

She looked anxiously at them and sighed. "I am sorry, but no. I can't sing. And,it may interrupt cheerio practice time." Brooklynn handed it back as quickly as she grabbed it, taking a turn for the worst. She started to walk away. "But you just-" "I'm sorry, but no." She looked at Camila with a frown before going down another hallway. God how Camila hated how intimadating those girls can be on each other. She looked at the slightly crumbled paper from when Brooklynn shoved it back to her and sighed. "Note to self; don't DARE ask a cheerio." Camila turned around and walked away. Soon enough, Puck joined the hall from a seperate one and was basically storming down the hall with her. "How did it work out for you?" He groaned. "I got none, and I almost got a cheerio but her little cheerleading friends drove her away from it," I crossed my arms. "Your experience sounds better. I went to those Science nerds and they tried pouring some of that green and yellow shit in those test tubes on me and called ME the nerd." He exclaimed. "Well, we have twelve already, so we should be fine." I shook my head.

Later on, Camila was walking down the empty hallways after school holding everyone's paperwork and trying to get it to the auditorium quickly. As she passed the ladies locker room, she heard some rhythmic humming and stopped. She quietly tip toed to the door and pushed it open. Camila quickly set the papers down to stop the door so it would squeak and she sneaked around the lockers. The humming turned to singing. Beatiful singing that is. Her head finally peeped around a corner and her eyes were set on Brooklynn. She was swapping things out of her cheerios locker into her backpack and singing Nightingale by Demi Lovato. Camila had to cover her mouth she was so surprised about how vibrant Brooklynn's voice was. "I can't sing." Camila mocked in her head. She noticed Brooklynn was almost ready to head home and panicked. She looked around and saw her papers and the pen stacked on top of it all holding the door open.

Brooklynn walked over to the door when she was done and shut the lights off. When she grabbed the handle, her hand grasped a piece of paper. Brooklynn didn't know what to do at first, but then she picked it up and examined it. It was the audition form from earlier with a pen attached to it:

Don't let others decide your future -C

She read it over and over before looking around the locker room to see if anyone was there, but it was empty. Brooklynn looked at the paper, and then the trashcan in the corner and let out a long breath.

(Camila's  POV)

I stood by myself on the stage and looked dead into the stage light. "Remember when poor little you didn't know about fourteen of us were sitting in the far back row watching you?" Finn asked over the microphone. I laughed and blushed to myself. "I remember it like it was yesterday. I wondered why Angie wanted me to sing so bad." I grinned. "I'm glad you agreed." He smiled. "Alright! Let's get this show on the road!" Artie wheeled in and parked next to Finn. I hopped down and ran up to the table to sit in between them excited to see one of our future Glee members.

That wasn't the case. By the sixth audition, I was so sunken in my chair I could pull off being a foldable chair. "This is hopeless." I squirmed in my chair as this girl was basically screeching the lyrics. "No it's not." Artie corrected me. Then, the girl tried hitting a high note and her voice made an ugly voice crack. "At least we have options?" Artie turned to me and slowly strugged. "Thank you. Thank you. We will, uh, let you know." Finn forced a smile. I tugged at my baby hairs and rolled my eyes as I put my hands over my eyes and groaned. "Next." Finn tiredly called through the microphone. He as well as I had a torturing headache.

"Hi my name is Brooklynn DiAngelis."

I immediately grabbed Finn's shoulder and pulled myself up quickly. My eyes widened as I saw it was actually her. She had changed into a white flowy shirt and skinny jeans with black coverse. She grabbed her microphone and nodded for the band to play. My heart bursted with joy as I repetitively hit Finn's shoulder. "IT'S HER IT'S HER!" I whisper yelled as Finn winced in pain.

Brooklynn: She just wants to be beautiful. She goes unnoticed, she knows no limits,. She craves attention, she praises an image, she prays to be sculpted by the sculptor. Oh she don't see the light that's shining. Deeper than the eyes can find it. Maybe we have made her blind. So she tries to cover up her pain, and cut her woes away. 'Cause covergirls don't cry after their face is made.

I looked at Finn and my jaw dropped. I knew I had heard her earlier, but her voice much louder and amplified was out of this world.

Brooklynn: But there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark. You should know you're beautiful just the way you are. And you don't have to change a thing. The world could change its heart. No scars to your beautiful, we're stars and we're beautiful. Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh.

I stood up and shook my hands for the music to stop. Her face drew over with fear and I grabbed the microphone out of Finn's hands. "YOU'RE IN." I yelled, causing the microphone to squeal and everyone to cover their ears. "Sorry, but you're in," I said again. "But I didn't fini-" "You don't need to finish. You're perfect." I grinned out of breath. I didn't care about anyone else at this point. I needed to grab her before the cheerios tried taking her back. "But Camila that's not fair to everyone." Artie looked at me. "I don't need her to finish, I know she has potentional." I glared at him. I turned back to her and smiled as she became excited.

"Welcome to Glee Club."
