8 Years Later
I jerked up gasping for air. I saw them again. Those silver grey eyes that look so familiar, but I'd never seen them before. They stared deep into my soul. I was so afraid but yet I felt like I was... safe somehow.
I ran my fingers through my hair. I didn't have this dream in weeks. As soon as I thought they were finally over. I'd sometimes have a bad dream. But those grey eyes are what scare me. I could never make out its face only those stormy grey eyes. I let out a loud sigh.
I think I'm going crazy.
I looked over at my alarm clock. It's 5 in the morning. I groaned and fell back onto the bed trying to force my body to go back to sleep.
My stomach growled and I knew my attempt of going back to sleep was futile. I sat up and ran a hand through my curly hair before getting up and making my way to the kitchen.
I decided to make breakfast for me and my roommate Amy - short for Amelia. Me and Amy live in a suitable size two bedroom apartment, and each have our own bathroom. I was determined that we get a apartment with two bathrooms because Amy takes forever to get ready.
Once I was done cooking breakfast, I was about to tell Amy breakfast is ready but stopped when I glance at the time that read 5:52am. There's no way Amy is getting up this early. I debated if I should wake her or not.
If I wake her she will be grumpy but if I don't wake her, her food will be cold. I went with the later option knowing Amy wouldn't mind eating a cold breakfast. I finished my breakfast then walked back into my room and stripped from my clothes. Grabbing a towel I went into my ensuite and hopped into the shower.
After washing my hair and my body I got out the shower and wrapped the towel around my body before walking back into my room. I quickly put on my underwear and decided to wear a pair of jeans, a black cold shoulder long sleeves t-shirt, and my black boots. I put my hair in a messy bun and walked out of my room and into the kitchen. I was surprised when I saw Amy sitting at the kitchen island eating her food. She glanced at me then finished texting away on her phone while eating her
I walked fully into the kitchen and took a seat next to Amy.
"Your welcome." I stated. The sarcasm dripping from my voice. Amy looked at me and then smiled with a bunch of pancakes still in her mouth. Ewww. I scrunched up my face and turned away from her trying to get the nasty image out of my mind.
"You could have made them a little darker, they're too soft." She stared at her food and stabbed it lightly with the fork. Her words finally processed in my head. She's complaining about the food she's too lazy to make.
"You don't have to eat it." I was little offended about what she said about my food. I knew she wasn't serious but it still put a hole in my ego.
"If I don't eat it who will?" She smiled, only this time she swallowed her food. I glared at her. When she saw my expression she laughed. "I'm only messing with you Talia." I mumbled inappropriate words that she didn't seem to hear it, or she chose to ignore them.
After she was done eating, she went back into her room to get ready. I went straight to the living room, turned on the tv, and started catching up on tv shows I missed. About two hours later, Amy came out of her room dressed in skinny jeans, a t-shirt with a see through blouse over it, heels, and her straight hair is in a ponytail. I have to admit that Amy is very attractive. She looks like she could be a Victoria Secret model.
She's skinny but has curves all in the right places. Not one bump or mark on her flawless skin. She have beautiful blue eyes, and stand 5,5. Her full strawberry hair is naturally straight and stop at her upper-back unlike mine. My brown hair is naturally curly and stop at my mid-back, I have brown eyes, and I stand 5,4.
