"You know him?" Alex voice broke me from my trance. I quickly looked away from the captivating amber eyes but soon regretted it once I did. Everyone was glaring at me. I knew better to look to see the glares Angelo was sending me. I kept my gaze on everyone except him.
"H-He's the one that helped me back at the warehouse." Ian grin widened confirming that I was right after all. "And I kinda waste my coffee all over him the other day."
I finally let my gaze drift to Angelo and badly wished I didn't. If looks could kill I'd be 6ft under. I unconsciously walked back trying to get away from him. He grabbed my arm stopping me from moving any further, his hand tightening. I bit my lip trying to stop the whimper that wanted to escape.
"Why are you here?" I inhaled sharply, the tone in Angelo's voice was playing no games. Ian didn't seem affected at all. He smirked and plopped down on the long couch, putting his feet on the glass coffee table.
"Thanks, I'll love to take a seat." Ian said mockingly. My eyes widened. He just ignored Angelo and took a seat on the sofa as if he didn't come here unwelcome. I knew Angelo was having trouble controlling his anger because his hand again tightened on my arm. I was sure my blood circulation stopped. This time I couldn't hold back the whimper that left my lips.
"Angelo, let go. You're hurting me." I whispered. I wasn't sure if he didn't hear me or if he was ignoring me, his piercing gaze didn't leave Ian. I was desperately trying to stop the tears from falling.
Ian suddenly stood, his grin falling. "Let go of the girl." That must've broke Angelo from his trance because he looked at me, his eyes slightly softening. He loosened his grip but didn't release me. Ian seemed to relax, the grin returning to his face.
"Stop playing games Ian! Tell us why you're here!" Alex yelled angrily. I slightly cowered back into Angelo. I never seen Alex so mad. Ian being non affected by Alex's outburst, smirked.
"It's nice to see you too Alex." He looked at Zoe. "Zoe," he greeted. He gaze shifted to Nicole. "Nicole," then he turned to Angelo. "And last but of course not least, Angelo." Angelo's jaw clenched. Ian didn't pay no attention to Angelo's anger. "Where's Luke and Logan?"
I was shocked and confused. They know Ian? Well, Ian knows them.
"Stop fucking around Ian, and tell me, Why. Are. You. Here." Angelo said through clenched teeth, but what scared me more was that his voice was deadly calm.
Ian tilted his head and sighed. "Okay, alright. I'll tell you." He sighed then looked at me. A cruel smirk covered his face. "I'm here for her." I gasped.
"You can't have her!" Zoe shouted. Angelo tugged me behind him a bit. This didn't go unnoticed by Ian.
Ian laughed and shook his head. "Now we all know I could easily take her." He laughed again. My eyes widened when no one denied him.
"Who the hell are you?" I finally found my voice. Ian stared at me, cocking his head to the side.
"Ian or what they like to call me The Silencer." He smirked. I knew I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help myself.
"W-Why do they call you that?" His smirk widened.
"Many reasons that your ears are too sensitive to hear." I tensed.
"Why are you here for me?" I was on the roll.
"Well, I was sent to kill you." He said nonchalantly. I gasped and Angelo's arm wrapped around my waist possessively. I'm not sure but I could've sworn Ian rolled his eyes. "...And I was sent to kidnap you. The things people are willing to do for all that money." He mumbled the last part shaking his head.
