Abu Dhabi was magical. M a g i c a l.

I'd been places before but let me tell you, here was a place that was just so authentic and beautiful. And what better way to spend it then with Aubrey.

After landing a few days ago, we'd settled into our gorgeous hotel just fine. The boys often went exploring and we stayed partying into the early hours. Nothing we weren't used to.

I often woke up to a gorgeous view across the city as our room was so high up. We could see for miles.

I often woke up a new notification about Robyn in Abu Dhabi too.

A new text message letting me know she was here like I didn't know before hand.

I KNEW.

What were people expecting me to do?

My own cousin was texting me telling me to have my guard up and watch out for her.

For ROBYN?

She might've .. fraternised with Aubrey in the past and she may have come to me on some woman to woman shit and left me hanging but I wasn't about to FIGHT the girl. Fight over man? Never. Not in a foreign country anyway.

Aubrey and I had been having a great run. We hadn't argued or fought since the miscarriage .. something we still needed to talk about properly.

We'd been like a happy normal couple surrounded by people that we loved and that loved us.

I wasn't about to let past relations and unspoken conversations ruin it. She was here to slay her last performance for the AWT and he was here to do his thing at the clubs.

Our paths need not cross unless once of us made it so.

At the back of my mind, I knew I should see her, but not now. But what new shit could she have to tell me? I know what went down already.

When we fly back I'd have to reach out to her. Guilt her into arranging something.

I was brought out of my deep sleep by the ringing of my alarm. I'd set it for 6 am but breakfast wasnt until 8. I'd wanted a little time with Aubrey. My eyelids cracked open revealing the soft brown eyes id been blessed with at birth.

The curtains were open as we liked to wake up to the view. A rose and tangerine glow streamed into the room as a quilt of pink and orange blanketed the sky.

The sun was slowly rising up from behind the horizon and streaming in through the windowed wall. I turned over and slid my arm down the golden back of the beast that lay next to me. His head faced opposite me, so I caressed his back while his breathing was slow and steady.

I could tell he was very relaxed.

Not just because of sleep but genuinely relaxed.

At ease with himself.

I wriggled down the bed and slowly began planting soft kisses down his spine. I stopped as I reached his boxer line and slowly turned him on his back.

I froze as I sensed too much movement from him. I wanted him to remain asleep so I could wake him up the right way.

His long eyelashes fluttered as he remained in his sleep. His face was perfect. That of a apt Angel. His down turned eyes seemed to align when sleep had him. His perfectly groomed brows gently furrowed as his dream played out in his mind. His face was softly expressive and his ever-pouting lips had finally relaxed into a soft line.
