Monday. It was Monday already! The weekend had gone so fast. I went shopping with Sara on Saturday for some new clothes for me, that she insisted she had to buy once she saw the lack of clothing I had brought with me. Sunday we went shopping again to get school books this time. Sara told me that I would get my timetable on Monday at school and that because she wasn’t sure what I liked or did last year that she picked my subjects trying to include something from every area. She told me that I could change out of them and into others if I didn’t like any that she picked.
Today was the day. Sara had come in about five minutes ago to wake me up and let me know that I had one hour to get ready. It was only 7 o’clock so it wasn’t really that early, but I was still feeling like I didn’t get enough sleep. I quickly picked out some dark denim skinny jeans and dark purple shirt to wear with some black flats. I went downstairs and had some cereal for breakfast before coming back up and brushing my teeth. I went back into my room and brushed my hair and slid a new black head band into it. I used my brush to tease it a bit at the back and give it some volume before lightly hair spraying it so it didn’t look frizzy. I grabbed the school bag that I had brought with Sara and put my wallet and the books we had brought in it before heading down stairs to where Sara was, letting me know that it was time to go.
We got in her car and I made sure to concentrate on trying to remember where she went to get to the school. It was massive! The school I mean. It was so big! I was sure I was going to get lost as soon as I stepped foot in there. Sara wished me luck, telling me to go the student reception to get my timetable before going to my homeroom class to start the day. I thanked her for dropping me here before she drove off leaving me to fend for myself.
There was still a half hour before school started but some students were already starting to arrive. I figured that half an hour was enough time to find my way to the student reception Sarah told me about, and so I ventured into the massive building that was my new school. The hallways were mainly deserted accept for the odd student or teacher I would pass every now and then.
I was 10 minutes into my search now, and I was so lost. I couldn’t even remember how to get back to where I got in. I think I was now somewhere on the second level of the three level school building. I didn’t think that I was anywhere near the student reception either. I let out a frustrated groan slid my back down the wall until I was sitting on the floor with my head in my hands. How can a school have this many classrooms anyway? How many people go to this school? I slowly got back up and decided that I needed to keep walking at least until I found another person I could ask for directions. I got to the end of the hall that I was on, rounded the corner and ran into something hard. Before I could fall back onto my ass two hands wrapped around my upper arms keeping me in place.
“Watch were your going, sweet cheeks.” A deep male voice whispered in my ear before stepping away. His breathe smelt slightly like alcohol mixed with mint. I don’t know how I knew what they both smelt like, but it seemed right to me so I was just going to go with it. I found that I could usually pick up on smells and tastes that were familiar, it was just people and placed that I didn’t remember.
“Are you drunk?” I asked him stupidly.
He looked slightly confused so I took the time to actually notice of what he looked like. He had gorgeous black hair that fell slightly into his stunning green eyes. His face, overall, was very handsome. His attitude however, could use some work. I could tell that he had muscles as well. You could see the outline of them under his plain gray shirt that matched very well with his dark low slung denim jeans.
