- You can love a monster, he can even love you back, but that doesn't change his nature -
~*~*~
FRANKLY, the girl was terrified.
Although she'd never show it to the men. Never.
She sat in the back of the green army van with a feeling of dread buried deep in her gut. The gut feeling that disaster was going to strike just wouldn't go away, it haunted her.
The tape on her mouth pulled at the hairs on her face painfully and the rope tied around her burned the bare skin on her wrists and ankles. Small cuts had begun to form on both her wrists and ankles, small pools of blood forming and dripping onto the truck's metal floor.
But she didn't wince at all, even when the lanky man in front of her was turned away and wouldn't have seen, she couldn't risk showing any sign of weakness.
Eleanor had always been this way since the dead started to roam the earth. The last thing she'd ever do would be to show someone that they'd hurt, upset or scared her. She would wait until she was alone to show any of that sort of emotion. That's how you had to be in a world like this, in a world where you can trust no one.
As soon as someone figured out your weaknesses, you were as good as dead. They would use your weaknesses against you to get what they want, even your closest friends would do it. No one cared for anyone else anymore. There was no one for all and all for one. The only person that mattered was yourself.
The van jumps over a bump in the road, causing Eleanor to fall to the side and hit her head on the floor with a painful bang. With her hands tied behind her back, it was almost impossible to sit herself up again. She tried her best but failed each time.
The broad, ginger man who sat beside her grabbed her shoulder roughly and pushed her back up.It hurt a lot but she didn't show it, instead she silently glared at the ugly, lanky man who just laughed at her.
"Negans going to love this one." The lanky man mutters with a grin "She's fiery."
The other two men in the back with them laugh too and the ginger speaks "If he don't, I'll have her for myself."
"If he don't, he'll probably kill her." The third man says notchantly, as though Eleanor wasn't sat right there.
"Surely not?" The ginger asks what Eleanor is thinking with a frown on his face. He glances at the bound brunette girl "He'd have her working for us."
"Not necessarily," The third man speaks again "He makes the choices... Not that they're always good choices."
The lanky man shrugs, picking at his finger nails "Ah well, he is the boss."
The unfortunate girl knew then that she'd have to try and make this man named Negan, whom ever he was, like her.
She had to survive. She had made a promise to her father that she would find and kill the men who attacked her group and wiped them out that night. No matter how much fighting nor how much time it took her.Little did she know; she was sat in the truck with them.

"Come on, get up," The lanky man stood over the half asleep girl as she opened her eyes "Get the fuck up."He leant down with a knife and started to saw away at the rope tied around her ankles "Don't try and run. You'll end up dead."
She silently cursed herself for falling asleep so easily with these strange men around her as she climbed to her feet. Idiot, idiot, idiot, idiot.
