Chris' POV

"What the hell do you think you're doing by coming into my home?" I screamed at Jonas as he walked towards me. He grabbed Ingrid's arm harshly and picked Eva off the ground before speaking up with his drunken tone.

"I'm here to take my girls home with me. They aren't yours. They belong to me." He spat at me and I watched William grab his empty beer bottle from the mahogany table.

"They are human beings, not belongings you asshole." Noora said as she moved out of the way, realizing William's plan. Jonas turned to the sound of Noora's petite voice and spoke up confidently.

"How about I take you with me too? I'll show you the difference between a human and a belonging in one night baby." Jonas said while winking at her which made her roll her eyes and open her mouth to speak again but William had already beat her to the punch.

"Don't you dare talk to my girlfriend that way ever again." He spoke, anger growing within his eyes. I prepared for the worst, staring at Eva and Ingrid who were both frightened out of their wits.

"What are you gonna do pussy?" Jonas said before releasing the girls, balling his fists into knuckles. With a split move, William smashed the bottle against Jonas' head. Glass scattered across the floor as Jonas fell backwards because of the blunt force. The surprising action made Ingrid gasp loudly and crouch behind Eva before the room became silent. Ingrid moved closer to me and William backed up to Noora as Eva stood above Jonas, staring at him.

She stood there for a good minute or two before she collapsed to her knees. William grabbed Noora and Ingrid to give Eva and I privacy and once they were gone, I fell down beside her to talk about what was wrong. Once I saw her face, I expected tears to be streaming out but nothing but a blank stare covered her face. I touched her arm cautiously, unaware of what to say. She looked down at her hands, tears now flooding her eyes just as I presumed. Her pink lips parted slowly, took in a breath of air before speaking up in a soft tone.

"I loved him. I loved him with my whole heart and gave him everything of mine unfortunately. I wish I knew that he never loved me. I would have stopped dreaming that we were going to get better and fix ourselves." She said with a broken tone unlike any I've ever heard before.

"I'm sorry." I say while I pull her closer to me. Her blank eyes stare into mine and she stares at me while speaking up.

"Promise me that you'll leave me when you don't love me anymore." She said suddenly and I wished she hadn't spoken such cruel words about how I could ever potentially love anyone else more than her yet I knew I had to promise her.

"I promise." I said and she stood silently before walking upstairs and shutting our bedroom door. Noora walked up slowly, Ingrid following behind her as I sat down in the living room with William, finishing the recorded game.

...

"Thank you so much for coming over. Next time we hang out, let's not have the crazy ex-boyfriends though." Eva said as she stood at the door with Noora. They laughed and I wondered what I would do with the unconscious asshole who lies at our entry way. They left slowly, leaving Eva and I to deal with Jonas. Ingrid had gone to bed early since she said that the withdrawal from the medication was giving her a bad headache.

"What are we gonna do with him?" Eva asked while kicking his shoe gently.

"Where could we take him?" I ask before she smirks slowly.

"We can drop him off at his mom's house." She says and I wonder why she has such a devilish smirk on her face all of the sudden.

"Okay. Why do you say that with a devilish smirk on your face?" I say which makes her laugh slightly.

"His mom kicked him out of her house because he wouldn't stop bringing girls home and getting high at home so I'm sure she would appreciate to talk to her son when he wakes up from his drunken blackout state." She explains as we drag him outside and slowly get him into the back seat of my car. She tells me that she lives nearly thirty minutes away but I know if I speed I can get him there in a less amount of time. She tells me how to get there and I throw him over my shoulder as Eva rings the doorbell to a quaint home. A short, brunette lady with few wrinkles answers and a smile pops up on her face once seeing its Eva.

"Eva? Oh my goodness sweetheart. It's been forever since I've seen you! What can I do for you? Do you and your friend want to come in?" She says while moving to the side so we can walk in. Eva walks in gracefully before I do and once we are inside Eva speaks up.

"Thank you for letting us in. Your son came over and trashed my place, drunk again. His sister declined him and my current boyfriend and I don't feel comfortable keeping him at our home. We didn't know where else to go except here." Eva says with a saddening tone, trying to sell this poor woman's heart.

"Oh my, honey! You made the right choice by bringing him here. We can take him upstairs to his room." She says while leading me upstairs with her slowly, motioning for me to set him on the small bed within the room. As we walk out, I hear her lock the door from the outside and wonder how terrible he must've been while he was still a little kid to make her put a lock on the door. I make my way down with the little woman and find Eva sitting prominently on the couch. I sit next to her as Jonas' mom stands in front of us.

"Do you two care for any cake? I have my famous chocolate cake made and I know how you adore it Eva." Eva laughs before speaking up.

"I'll share a piece with him yet can we have two glasses of milk?" Eva politely asks and I think about how if my family had the chance to meet her, they would love her just as much as I do. Jonas' mom nods slowly before shuffling off to the kitchen. She comes back shortly with a wooden tray that carries a large plate for the big slice of cake and two tall glasses of milk. She sets it on the table before taking a seat on the adjacent sectional and speaking up.

"So Eva, how's school? How's your relationship with this hunk?" Jonas' mom says which makes us both laugh.

...

"Thank you so much for letting us in your home." Eva says with one final hug before we leave for the night. The front door shuts shortly after we get into the car and we make our way back home. The ride home is silent except for the music that plays in the background and suddenly my favorite song comes on. I turn up the music and unexpectedly Eva begins to sing slowly while staring out the window.

"Saying I love you, is not the words I want to hear from you. It's not that I want you not to say them but if you only knew." Her voice is raspy slightly and I admire how she enjoys this songs just as much as I do. I listen to her sing the rest of the song as it plays and by the time we get home, she is still singing along to all the songs that are playing on the radio.

We make our way in, go upstairs after closing down the house for the night and eventually make it to the bedroom. She strips nonchalantly for me and motions for me to come lay in bed with her. I strip down as well and once I get into the bed, I pull her close. Her lips connect with mine, leaving a lingering kiss which sends a shiver throughout my body in ecstasy. Our lips move in sync thoroughly before I make my way down to her neck. I kiss her soft spot just at the base of her neck and bite harshly to leave a love bite on her. She moans silently, making my member grow hard and yet I wonder if she wants me as much as I want her.

"I love you." She moans against my skin before placing her full lips against my neck on my weak spot. I let her straddle my body slowly and once she is on top of me I take in her beautiful appearance. We sit in silence for a while before I speak up.

"Let me make love to you." I whisper through the dimly lit atmosphere. I see her blush and smile before nodding her head as a way to accept my offer. She kisses her way down my chest seductively before getting to the waistband of my briefs. She pulls them down my legs before I kicked them the rest of the way off and our intimate moment had begun.
