Garnet's pov
I shake the boy in front of me awake. "Huh? Is it morning?" He mumbles, rubbing his eyes.
"No, it's midnight. Happy birthday Max!" I reply cheerily.
"Are you finally gonna tell me you're a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire? Or Sky and Jin? Whatever," He asks.
"Aw, you already know about all that," I answer, with a small chuckle. "Awww," He whines, laying back down.
"But what you don't know is how Sky and Jin met," I say, and he sits back up. "OMG, I don't!" He whisper yells.
I clear my throat and begin.
"It was Earth. Almost 6,000 years ago. There was a promising site for a new colony there. But the plans were being held off, as a group of rebels continued to try and stop them. A group of Homeworld gems were sent for further investigation." (Rebecca Sugar)
"Among those gems were Sapphire, aka Jin and his 3 Ruby guards. Jin was a rare gem with the power to see into the future. The Rubies were common guards." (Rebecca Sugar)
"Ruby Guard 1: Hey! I can't wait for those rebels to get here!" (Rebecca Sugar)
"Ruby Guard 2: Haha, yeah! When I see those rebels, I'm gonna punch them right in their faces!" (Rebecca Sugar)
"Ruby Guard 1: What are you sayin'? I'm gonna punch them all over their bodies and then, it'll be over." (Rebecca Sugar)
"Ruby, aka Sky: Oh, come on. We'll punch them together when we fuse. That why they sent, uh, three of us?" (Rebecca Sugar)
"Ruby Guard 1: Three this!" (Rebecca Sugar)
