Snuggle Party!

I was tired in the morning having woken up at four rom that damn wet dream, and then spending another hour or two with Shadow star gazing. He seemed to know a lot about them, whether it was from taking astrology in his senior year or being from space it’s self he was really good at naming stars and constellations.

“We found them!!” Rouge’s call had suddenly woke me up. My eyes opened finding myself still outside nestled in Shadow’s arms as we slept on the grass.

“Hey you lover boys~” She giggled, “Had a nice sleep?”

Did she know about Shadow and me being together? My face flushed with a little embarrassment as I slowly moved out of Shadow’s arms.

“Its winter and you guys slept outside!?” Knuckles came running up the hill, “Are you crazy! What do you want to do catch your death out here?!” He waved his arms franticly, “It’s going to snow by this afternoon!”

 “I-it is?” I gasped, was it really that cold!? But I felt fine… I looked down finding a thick shall wrapped around me. Oh, no wonder Shadow must have got it or me when I had passed out on him. I sat up with a yawn, and down at Shadow with not even a blanket and hadn’t even shivered!

“Everyone down there is looking for you guys!” Knuckles had finally calmed himself down a bit. Silver and Blaze trekked up the hill now with Espio tagging along, everyone wearing their winter coats.

“What are you doing out here?” Silver asked helping me up. My arm had stuck out of my fuzzy shall and immediately ducked back in from the frozen air now hitting against me.

“Holy crap its cold!” I yelped feeling my legs get hit with the frozen sea air.

“Shadow darling.~” Rouge whispered at his ear leaning down and shook him softly.

“Hmm?” He grumbled and curled in a ball.

“Shadow it’s time to wake up.” She said again shaking him.

Poor Shadow, already having a hard time sleeping and finally getting some sleep, only to be wakened up about an hour or two after just getting to sleep.

“Ouch!” Rouge jumped back putting her finger in her mouth and then drew it out checking for blood. I looked back at Shadow his quills fully raised and spiked in all directions as he let out a lazy hiss.

“I’m sorry.” I said feeling the need to apologize, ever since I was little and had other friends that I would sometimes get poked with my quills accidently it was just an automatic response for me when anyone got pricked by them.

She looked at me confused.

“Uh, I mean he only got two hours of sleep last night, he’s going to be really grumpy.” I said.
