Unfortunately the whole week was the same; no show, no answer from Shadow. Fortunately I hung out and got closer to Amy in his absents. She likes to race remote control cars on a huge track her father had gotten as a Christmas present and raced cars with her when she was very small. She took up weights when she was in mid elementary, as she was the oldest child in the family and with no brother to step up to the bullies that were in the school yard she took on the deed to protect not only herself but her younger sister. Which is probably why she had no fear in going up against Shadow when he started that fight. Plus I got the group to let her stay in the morning, they still give off that they don’t really like her, but they won’t tell her to leave as long as I’m there with her.

Friday. Finally the end of the week! I’ve always loved Fridays. It’s like the gate way to the weekend! Freedom! I got ready quickly feeling like a race horse in the gates at a race. Instead of taking my time getting to school I let loose with a Sonic Boom, no need to drag this day out right? I had arrived before everyone else, maybe I left a little too early…

I sat down on a table waiting… the students showed up one by one, and some in small groups of threes, the walkers, the car riders and then the seniors driving their own car, or rather, Knuckles on his fore wheeler. Why would you ride one of those to school anyway? If it weren’t for me being there first he would have been the first one to arrive.

“Hey, you’re here early!” He waved walking up to me.

“Yeah I wanna get this over with.” I said.

“Tell me about it, ugh what a week with pre-exams and other abbreviated shit… ugh I can’t wait for graduation!” He thumped his head with a mitt, “All this work man is giving me a head ache.”

Graduation, I’ve been waiting for it too, only I’m a Junior, I’ll have one year left. “What are you doing after graduation?” I asked.

“Eh, guarding the master Emerald just like I do now… Nothing really different. Only I’ll be taking it on as a full time job.”

“Oh. Well will you keep in touch with all of your friends?”

“Well with Rouge for sure, and I’m hoping to keep in touch with Espio. Of course I don’t want to lose sight of anybody but, you know… life happens.” He shrugged.

Yeah… I hope Shadow and I will keep in touch even after he graduates… what if he forgets about me after he’s no longer in school and we never see each other again…

Why do I insist on thinking of things that make me feel sick!? Ugh…

Rouge drove up with Blaze in her passenger seat in a company car with a light gray ‘G’ on the door. A GUN owned car, sleek black looking new. Silver was dropped off by his mom and Espio came around the same time with Vector… I didn’t know they knew each other. It seemed they wanted no one to know they were in any close kind of relation as they quickly went their separate ways, Espio joining with us.

“Stupid crocodile can’t carry a tune to save his life.” Espio grumbled rubbing his head with a head ache.

“Yeah and you can do any better?” Blaze teased.

“No… and that’s why I don’t sing!” Espio snapped and plopped down next to me on the table, “Ugh let’s hope this day goes by fast.”

“At least it’s Friday.” I reminded hoping to cheer him up.

“Yeah great… then I get to spend all weekend with not only out of tune Vector but a hyper active bee too.” He groaned.
