A New Family Part1

Lilly's POV:  Me & Lara got up early and decide to practice our fighting skills. We knew we wouldn't hurt each other because we've practiced like this for years. Lara came running at me and I jumped out of the way just in time. She hit the ground with a thump and came at me again. This time I let her come. She landed on my back and pulled on my ear hoping to hold on. I tried to shake her off but, her grip was tightening. I struggled to stop her. Then I had a thought. I rolled to the side, and she hung near the edge of the hill and grabbed a tree, she tried to hold on. The tree eventually snapped and I got to her when she was falling. I walked back a few steps then ran over the hill. I was hurling towards the ground above Lara by a few feet. I shifted into a human. "LARA! GRAB MY HAND!" I shouted over the howl of the wind. She must have understood because she took my hand and pulled me towards her. I turned into a wolf but I knew it couldn't stop us from getting hurt. Lara transformed at the last second and she landed on her feet. I landed on my side.

1 Hour Later............................................................ 

I woke up with Lara shaking my shoulders and everyone standing around me. "Am I alive? Did we make it?" Everyone laughed. Lara smiled at me and she said "Yeah, we made it. Thanks to you." I laughed too and she helped me up. "Next time, let's practice in the field." We said at the exact same time. They decided to take away my punishment for saving a pack member from certain death. The rest of my day was pretty normal compared to that.

11:06 PM...............................................................................

Lara's POV: We practiced again, on the hill. Lilly attacked me in wolf form and as I was flying through the air I saw him. A magnificent gray wolf with piercing blue eyes. I knew he saw me too because he stared straight into my eyes. He seemed to smile at me. I fell and Lilly tackled me. We tumbled down the hill in human form.  Lilly landed next to me, laying flat on our backs on the dusty ground. A stranger stood above me. He was a beautiful stranger. He had golden blonde hair, a surfer tan, with ocean blue eyes, and a pearly white smile. He offered me his hand and I accepted it. "Hi. I'm Ben." "Hi,Ben. I'm Lara." "Hey. I'm Lilly." We introduced ourselves and decided to hang out. I asked him to go to the lake with me and he said he agreed happily. I felt bad ditching Lilly like that but, she'll get over it. Besides, she's not the type to hold it against me.

Lilly's POV: I couldn't believe Lara just left me for a guy, she literally just met! I wasn't going to hold it against her though. For a long time I just sat there. Thinking of everything I know. "Having fun there?" a deep voice asked. "Yeah. It's a blast!" I replied. "Can I join you? Or at least help you up?" "Sure, why not?" He grabbed my hand and pulled me up. "Thank you." I smiled. "You're welcome. So, want to go-" "Somewhere.. Anywhere.. I would love that!" I blushed and hoped he didn't notice. We went to hangout and had a good time.
