Lilly's POV: I was awake early this morning and began making breakfast for everyone. I was pouring some juice for everyone when, images of my mom flashed through my mind. Until, finally I saw her again, standing in-front of me. There, a version of me about 5 sat, next to my mother, frozen in time. I gasped and dropped the glass. The noise still didn't stop the memories. Everything unfroze and the disagreement began again. I found myself mouthing her words. The words I spoke when I was five. "Mommy, please don't leave me." she said with tears in her eyes. "Baby. I promise I'm not leaving you, I'll be back later." Then, Lola embraced the little girl and kissed her forehead. As soon as she left the little girl began to sob. I couldn't help myself. I hugged the girl, and whispered "It's okay". She looked around curiously, and whispered "Is someone here?" I almost laughed. Then, she did something I don't remember, she looked at me. Her blue eyes were directly staring at me. I freaked out, then realized she can't see me. She looked away and smiled. "Oh, it's only a shadow."
I snapped out of my memories and found Jamie staring back at me. She didn't ask questions she just grabbed the dustpan and helped me clean up the shards of broken glass. "When did you come down?" "Well, I heard all the noise." "Oh. Thanks for helping me out, Jam." She smiled at me. "Hurry, someone's coming." her smile turned into a frown because whoever was coming, was at the end of the stairs. Jam stood up at the last second and I was still leaning back on my toes, cleaning the remaining shards of glass. The person crept in the room, and ran over to us, I thought it was Fan but, I was wrong. It was a guy about 17 with dark brown hair, he was pretty tall, and wore a black hoodie, with black jeans and checkered sneakers. "Umm..." Jamie seemed to read my mind because she replied. "This is Icy." "Hi, I'm Lilly." he held out his hand and I shook it. I noticed he looked nervous, and decided to make him feel welcome. I smiled at him, and said "Nice to meet you". He returned the smile and looked around. "Someone else is coming." I warned. "Hide!" Jam whispered to Icy. He searched and froze. "Never mind. Just come on!" Jam grabbed his arm and took him out the back door. They ran into the woods, and couldn't be seen. I turned around to see Anna standing in-front of me. "Hey, Anna! What would you like for breakfast?" I asked with a cheerful voice. "Why are you talking like that?" "Oh, no reason, I'm just a cheerful person." "Yeah, right." she said. "At least, I can face my enemies!" I retorted. Blaze, Fan, Nina, and Fruit were in the kitchen when she said, "At least my family is still alive!" I couldn't take it anymore. My anger turned to sadness, loneliness, and despair. I pushed Anna out of my way and ran upstairs. I slammed the door and locked it. I started to sob, and think no one even wants me here. I would've been better off, if I joined my mother. I wished I could relive my whole life and have a better one. *****************************************************
I was back in my old room, when my mom promised me she'd never leave, she promised she'd always be with me, and this was my last day with her. The day she died.
Everything, unfroze and there she sat. She held her mother's favorite necklace and pieces of her mother, her favorite flowers, the dress that her mother had given her months before, a letter her mom had written, and a box. The box was a boringly, simple, brown wooden box, it was locked not to be opened until, the girl believed she wasn't wanted, or she wished she was gone never to be here ever again. I never even met my father. I never opened the box or the letter. ***************************************************************************************************************
I needed to have family here with me. I needed to open the box and read the letter. I needed to free myself from this pain. I needed to set her free. I dialed the number and waited for them to answer, they agreed to come see me.
A/N: Who do you think she called? (No it's not Jesus, Blaze.) :) Bye.
