The Way of The Pack

This is awkward.....

Lilly's POV: I woke up to silence. "What the?'' I questioned and found Lara heating up some pop-tarts. "Good morning." She greeted cheerfully. "Morning." I mumbled. She gave me a plate with two pop-tarts on it. I ate my breakfast and asked Lara where Ben and Sanders are. "They are sleeping still." she replied. I woke them up and we set off on our way back to the house. I took the lead with Ben behind me. It only took a few minutes to go wrong. Ben began question my choice of paths, Lara began to complain it was too hot, Sanders began to whine and annoy me. Then, they began to argue. ''Everybody shut up!!" I yelled. They still were bickering. "Uhhh!!!" I shouted in frustration and slid down against the counter so, I was sitting. "When did this become so complicated?!?!" I wondered aloud. Slowly, they started listening to each other. I stood up and turned into a wolf. They followed my lead and we snuck up behind a few trees. "Now." I whispered. Much to my surprise there was a pack of wolves in a circle surrounding 2 wolves. The alpha and the beta, I bet. "Who are you?" the alpha asked and I was surprised to find out, it was a she.

"I-I'm-" King stuttered. "You'll never catch me!!!" Ben interrupted and ran into the forest. "Umm... okay. I'm Lara." Lara answered. "Lilly." I said smiling or at least trying to. "And you are?" She asked King politely. "He's King." I said. He sent me a look. I knew he was silently thanking me. "Your name is?'' "Sassy. I like that." She said. "Just tell us your name." I demanded. "I'm Julianna. Friends call me, Julia." "Sorry. We were just passing by.'' I said trying to keep us out of trouble. "May I speak to the prisoners in private?'' Julia asked her fellow pack members. "Welcome, to the Winter Star Wolves Pack." Julia smiled and turned human. I shifted to normal and so did Lara. "Julia?" "Yes, dear?" "You- you were the Julia. The one that was a lying, unfair-" "You know her?" I asked cutting Lara off. Julia's eyes gleamed. And Lara had been staring at Julia. But, not just any friendly gaze, Lara had a piercing glare. Julia's eyes showed innocence but, she looked back showing me she was not one to be questioned or insulted. Neither side would back down. Then it came to me. Lara came from a different pack. The Warrior Wolves? No that's not it. Ugh! What was it called!?!?! I racked my brain looking for the answer until Lara began speaking again. "You're the evil mistress that stole everything from my family." Lara shouted. "Oh you remember me now, do you? I remember you annoying little girl!" Julia hissed. "Lilly. She exiled my mother and took alpha from my father!" Lara growled. "You stood in my way, you disgraceful child!" ''Really, Im disgraceful?!?! You made a plan to steal the alpha title from my father by killing him.You made my brother betray us by exiling me!! Then, you ordered them to kill my brother." She retorted with determination flickering in her eyes.

"Lara.'' "No." She said, her eyes turned completely black. "She stole my family! And brain-washed my brother!" "Lara." I stated calmly and put a hand on her shoulder. She changed into a wolf and lunged at Julia. "Guards!!!" Julia screamed, occasionally having a coughing fit.

Two large male wolves dragged Lara off Julia. I stayed human and waited. "Lilly!" I didn't move. I didn't move an inch because I had a plan. Soon enough the guards turned human and handcuffed Lara. "Since you didn't turn against the queen your sentence will be less time then hers." He handcuffed my wrists. Then, he guided me and Lara to their jail/prison. Lara stared at me and rolled her eyes. They locked us up in a underground rock cemented jail. '' I can't believe you!" she whispered turning towards the wall. I said nothing but, I broke the cuffs and took out my knife. I hid it in my back pocket and had my cuffs looking normal. Finally, the guards came back and opened the door. They came down the metal latter and helped us up. They took off our handcuffs and had us wait by the trees for a second. I grabbed my knife and slipped it up my jacket sleeve. "Come on." They said and one put his arms on my shoulders, the other watched me every few steps. We were in the middle of the woods when, one of them said they were going to check something. I got ready and swung in a fraction of a second. Unfortunately, I was fast. But, he was faster. He caught my elbow. I pushed my arm back and put a lot of force on my elbow. I ended up hitting him in the face, catching him totally off guard and knocking him down. I put one of the cuffs on him and the other on a tree branch. He was hanging a few inches above the ground. I ran back to Lara and broke her cuffs. Together we ran through the forest, found the others, and raced back to the house.
