The Reunion

Lilly's POV: 20 years later......

Hey guys. So, you may be wondering "what happened to everyone?".....Well, the 'family' had split up after college. We still kept in touch but barely. The last time we were all together was at Jamie & Icy's wedding. The last I've heard was, Lara & Ben were still dating and had bought an apartment together, I hadn't heard from Blaze, Fan, Fruit, Nina, or King, since college. I bet you're wondering now, "I thought you and Blaze were dating or something what happened?", Me & Blaze broke up and moved on to different people in college but, my relationship didn't last long. I don't know how his went. I pretty much ended up alone but, that didn't mean I had an unhappy life. I lived in the top floor of a penthouse with one neighbor next door, had five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a huge balcony, and a beautiful view of the beach. I almost forgot to mention, today is the day that we all get to reconnect and spend a week in the house like old times. -knock knock- I opened the door to find my niece Gracie. (yea, I found my Dad and a long lost brother named Hunter but he was a lot older and he knew about me but barely. Anyway, Grace is his daughter but I absolutely adore her.)

"Hey, sweetie!" I hugged my sixteen year old niece. "Hi, Auntie!" She smiled hugging back. "Needed an escape from home, huh?" I teased. "Yep." "Well, I have a reunion to go to. Take care of the house. & sweetie?" "Yes?" "You're free to do whatever you want just don't trash my home." I said with a laugh and tossed her the spare set of keys.

I arrived at the reunion early. A few minutes after a beautiful woman with chocolate brown hair, warm brown eyes, and a stunning smile noticed me at the same time I'd noticed her. "Jam!!!!" I screamed embracing her in a hug. "Lil!!!" She said hugging me back. "Girls will be girls." A man who I assumed was Icy said rolling his eyes. "Icy!" I hugged him just as excited. He hugged back, kissed Jam's cheek and pulled bags out of the car because everyone was staying for the week. "A little help?" He asked. "Here." I said gathering a few suitcases in my arms and taking them upstairs. After we finished, Jam introduced me to a little boy who looked like Icy but had Jam's eyes and her smile. "He's a handsome little devil." Icy said patting his head. "Dad! You're gonna ruin my hair, and I want it perfect for the ladies." He said. I laughed. "He's quite a catch." "Sweetie come here, I want you to meet someone." Jam said softly and a little girl appeared looking exactly like Jam.

"Meet Lilly. Lilly, this is Ariel, Ariel this is Lilly." "Aww she's so beautiful!!!" I gushed and stuck out a hand. "Hi. Nice to meet you." "She's shy." Icy said & took Ariel to go find Michael. "So, have you and Blaze been busy?" "He didn't tell you?" "Tell her what?" A voice asked from behind me. I whipped my head in that direction. "Blaze?" "Well, I'm certainly not Santa." He said sarcastically. We all laughed and tackled him with hugs. He hugged me last and ran his thumb over my cheekbone like he used to. "I'm glad to see you." "It's great to see you too." I agreed. "Where's your girlfriend, I can't wait to meet her?" "Well that's not gonna happen because we broke up." Jamie gasped and stared at us with wide eyes. "What happened to you guys/ Lilaze?!" "We broke up in college because we both moved on." "Oh, well I'm going to go find Icy, & the kids." "Wow. She & Icy have kids?" "Yep, a girl & a boy." We made small talk while everyone else arrived.

I found out that Blaze, Fan, Nina, Fruit, King, & I are all single. I think King & Fruit have a thing. I had to be sure though. So when King was washing the dishes I dragged Fruit upstairs to interrogate her. "Do you like him?" "Who?" "King!" "Well, maybe a little.." she said blushing. "Ask him out." After we had our 'little talk', Fruit walked around the kitchen awkwardly. I gave her a little push literally. She understood and began making conversation with him. I walked away. After that the day ended with us all just having a bonfire and catching up.

The week went by pretty quickly, whether I was watching Michael & Ariel, Asking Fruit about her date, or even hanging out with my old friends, this week was one of the best weeks I've had all year. I wished I could see everyone everyday but, we all lived so far away. Except for Lara & Mega who had bought the apartment next to mine. At least I can still hang out with someone. I also hoped that my 'family' would continue to live out their dreams & that we'd always remain as close as siblings. I'd always love them & every memory we shared. They would always be my true family at heart.
