Lilly's POV: The end of the two weeks...
It was already Saturday and time was running out. Sadly, there's been no signs of Blaze coming back. I lost hope a few days ago and I'm considering getting permission to leave. I mean I've already packed my clothes and things I want to take. Yeah it's kind of stupid that we have to ask permission but I guess so I can come back and they'll know where I am? I don't know.. I'm kind of anxious to finally meet my father after all these years without him. My mom didn't talk about him a lot but when she did she only described his personality. It'd be nice if he actually did something to show that he still cares about us and didn't totally abandon us. I decided I will stop thinking about him and ask for permission after dinner.

At dinner........
We sat at the table as usual but everyone was quiet. I forced myself not to say anything. Oddly enough, everyone seemed content with the new peacefulness. It was so different yet, it felt normal after 2 weeks.
"Jam? Fan?" "Yes?" they both asked. "Umm...Can I talk to you guys after dinner?" "Okay." Fan said staring at the floor.

After Dinner.......
"Can I umm, leave to see my father?" "Why?" "Well, my mother would have wanted me to. In fact she told me to 'if anything happened to her'. So can I?"
They whispered quietly to each other and replied, "Sure.'' & "We don't see why not?" "Yay! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I exclaimed hugging them. "When are you leaving?" "Tomorrow morning?" "Okay." They agreed.

Late at night....
For some reason I really want to see the tree house before I leave. (Sorry I shift tenses a lot) I ran outside despite the fact that there was a huge thunderstorm and that it was raining. When I got there I climbed up the ladder slowly and carefully. I was surprised to see the lights already on. I guess we left them on last time. I walked in and saw someone sitting on the couch. I was shocked as to who it was.
