Part Thirty Two. Gohan

I was sitting in my room. Trunks sitting with me, it's been two weeks since that day.
The day my mother died.
Trunks healed in a healing tank at the hospital, the city was rebuilding after that attack.
The castle was being rebuilt as well.
Dad has stayed in his room, and hasn't come out. Trunks is the only person I talk to, because when the Tuffles attacked the city they killed Videl and her family.
"Trunks." I called.
"Yeah babe?" Trunks asked.
"Um...the other day when I woke up I vomited for a few minutes. Is that a sign that I'm pregnant?" I asked.
Trunks frowned and said,"Probably."
I sighed.
"Dad's gonna kill me." I said.
"No he won't, he'll be happy. Besides maybe you just threw up because you were feeling sick, doesn't mean that you're pregnant." Trunks said.
"Yeah your right." I replied.
Then there was a knock at the door.
I got up and left my room, going down the stairs then I opened the door. It was Grandpa.
"Hey Grandpa Bardock." I greeted and hugged him.
"Hello Gohan, is your father home?" Grandpa asked.
"Yes, I'll go get him." I said and walked upstairs to get Dad.
Trunks asked who it was and I said it's my grandpa.
I went inside Dad's room and saw him lying in bed just looking up at the ceiling.
"Dad...you okay?" I asked.
He twitched.
"Grandpa Bardock is here, he's wants to talk with you." I said.
Dad sat up and got up from the bed. He walked past me, as if I wasn't there, and walked downstairs to the door.
Grandpa and Dad shook hands.
"Vegito, I've got great news. I'm not sure if this is true, but I heard rumors on Planet Meat that there are these orbs that can grant any wish. Even bring someone back from death." Grandpa said.
Dad's eyes widened.
"Where are these orbs?" Dad asked.
"They are on two different Planets, you could either go to Planet Namek or Planet Earth. Earth would be one year away, and Namek would be three years away." Grandpa said.
"I'll go to Earth, but how many orbs are there?" Dad questioned.
"I believe my intel said there are seven, my intel also said that the creators of the Dragon Balls are a race of people called Namekians." Grandpa answered.
Dad smiled.
He really smiled.
I haven't seen him smile in forever.
"The Namekians are green, with antennas coming off their forehead. Most of them don't fight, but a few do."
Trunks and I listened to their conversation.
"I'll leave tomorrow, can I borrow two Spacepods?" Dad asked Grandpa.
"Of course, but who is the second pod for?"
"For Gohan, I'm gonna bring him along too." Dad replied.
"Ok, tomorrow at five am come by my house and there will be two spaces pods ready for you to take." Grandpa said and then he dismissed himself and left.

Later that night I lay with Trunks in my bed. He was upset about me having to leave for two years total, because it will take one year to get there and another year to return.
We kissed each other goodnight and then Trunks left by flying out my window.
I smiled and then I fell asleep.
I woke up when someone started shaking me, my eyes opened and I saw Dad shaking me awake.
"Let's go Gohan." Dad said.
I quickly took a shower and brushed my teeth.
I got dressed and saw Dad putting a small container of seeds into his pocket.
"What are those?" I asked.
"Saibamen." Dad replied.
"Oh okay."
"You ready to go on a road trip!?" Dad asked.
I smiled and nodded, then Dad and I flew towards Grandpa's house.
We landed on his lawn and saw two space pods. Dad opened the door for me and then he told me to sit in it.
The door closed and then I looked out the window, watching Dad get in his space pod.
We could communicate with each other with the walky talkies. I grabbed the walky talky and said,"Let's go Dad."
"Alright son."
Then we pressed buttons on our keypads and the space pods blasted off into the sky.

It's been eleven months and twenty eight days, I sat in my space pod watching the stars fly by.
It turns out that I wasn't pregnant, which is good. My birthday was two months ago, now I'm fifteen.
"Son, let's make a pit stop on Planet Blue." Dad said.
"Okay Dad."
Our pods turned and landed on Planet Blue. The door to my pod opened and I stepped out.
Everything is blue, that's weird. Dad appeared by my side and said,"Wow, it's all blue."
We were both very hungry.
"Let's go check those houses." I said.
"No. Lets destroy the houses and eat the inhabitants." Dad said with a smirk.
"No Dad—"
He teleported away, and then a few seconds later the houses blew up! Dad returned with five blue aliens in his arms.
"These look good." Dad said and set the dead aliens down.
I sighed and then we started eating them.
When we were done Dad and I used the restroom, then we got back in the space pods.
The pods shot off into the sky towards Earth.

One Week Later...
I smiled as we neared the Planet Earth, I can see it now. It's mostly water, but that's okay.
Then when our pods entered the planet's atmosphere we started flying towards the ground even faster.
Then we crashed into the ground!
Our doors to our pods opened and then Dad and I stepped out of our pods.
We crashed in a city. The people of this planet stared at us with fear. Dad smirked.
"Son, do you mind if I kill them?" Dad asked.
"No Dad we're just here to find those magic orbs." I said.
Dad frowned and then we flew off.

Dad had brought a scouter, he was using the scouter to look for the orbs.
"I would suspect that the strongest people on this planet would know where the orbs are so let's head to the strongest power level on this Planet." Dad said.
"Okay."
We then flew in the direction of the power level.
We landed in a wasteland, I looked around to see who has the strongest power level on this planet.
"This Planet is full of weaklings, the average power level is 5. There are only seven power levels that are decent. The strongest one is only a 412 though." Dad said.
"Who are you two?"
Dad and I spun around, seeing a green man wearing purple clothing.
Dad smirked.
"Your the strongest on this planet. Maybe you could give me a challenge." Dad said.
"Not really Dad, your power level is a 1, 000, 671 when your going all out." I said.
Dad then said,"Wait a minute, your a Namekian. Then you must know about the magical orbs."
The green man's eyes widened.
"You know about the dragon balls?" He asked.
"Is that what they are called?" Dad asked.
"Yes, but I will never tell you anything about the Dragon Balls! I am the Great Demon King's Son, I am Piccolo!" He yelled and lunged at Dad.
Dad sighed and punched Piccolo away, Piccolo slid on the ground. Then he got back up, growling.
"You two are incredibly strong." Piccolo said.
"Listen Piccolo, we won't kill you if you just tell us where we can find the Dragon Balls." I said.
Piccolo snarled and yelled,"NEVER!!"
Then four people appeared at Piccolo's side.
"Piccolo, we've come to help." A short bald one said.
"Yeah, you can't do this on your own." A tall bald one with three eyes said.
"I will help too!" A really short white thing said.
"I'll use my Wolf Fang Fist." One with a curly mullet said.
Dad sighed.
"What a pain, you could just tell us where the Dragon Balls are." Dad said.
"Never! Someone like you would use them for evil!" The tall bald one with three eyes yelled.
"Well I'm not gonna fight these weaklings, good thing I brought the Saibamen." Dad said.
He pulled the container out of his pocket and made holes in the ground, planting the seeds inside the holes.
"With this planet's soil they should grow in about ten seconds." Dad said.
Then five green men crawled out of the ground and made weird noises.
"Don't worry guys I'll take them all on." The one with the curly mullet said.
"Yamcha, there are five. We can all take one on." The short bald one said to the one with the curly mullet.
Yamcha grumbled.
"Whatever Krillin." Yamcha said to the short bald one.
Krillin chuckled.
"This is no time to be laughing Krillin." The tall one with three eyes said.
"Sorry Tien." Krillin said.
"Alright Chautzo, you think you can handle one?" Tien asked the small white thing.
"Yes Tien!" Chautzo said.
"Okay, let's go!" Piccolo yelled and then Dad said,"Attack them Saibamen."
The Saibamen lunged at the five fighters.
