Part Thirty Four. Gohan

"What?" Kami asked.
"Summon him, do it. I don't know how." Dad said.
Kami sighed. Piccolo looked angry, then Kami stood in front of the Dragon Balls and yelled,"SHENLONG COME FORTH!!"
The Dragon Balls started glowing and then a light shot out of them. Then, there appeared a Dragon.
"I am the almighty Shenlong, I will grant you any wish. Only one, what is your wish?" Shenlong asked.
Kami growled and said,"He's all yours."
Dad smiled. His eyes gleamed with excitement and then he yelled,"I wish for Gogeta to come back to life!"
"An easy task—wah!? What's happening to me!? AAAAAAAAAAAA!" Shenlong screamed and roared.
Then purple smoke appeared around him, the smoke cleared and Kami gasped.
Shenlong looked different, he looked blue and evil. Shenlong smirked and said,"Shenlong is gone, so are the Dragon Balls. You Earthlings have abused and overused the Dragon Balls, so you deserve to be punished."
"Shenlong what's wrong!?" Kami asked.
"Shut up Kami! Now I will be off." Shenlong said and dissolved with a cloud of smoke.
The Dragon Balls cracked and turned purple, then they shot off in different directions! Kami fell on his knees.
"Oh my, I never thought this would happen." Kami said.
Piccolo looked shocked too. Dad looked angry.
"YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT I CANT GET MY WISH!?" Dad yelled.
"I'm sorry, but the Dragon Balls are no more. The Dragon Balls have turned into seven evil Shadow Dragons." Kami said.
"What!?" I said.
"Tell me how to fix it!" Dad growled.
"You would have to find and kill all seven dragons, then once you kill them you will get the Dragon Balls back. But each Shadow Dragon is strong, they have a strength you've never seen before." Kami said.
"I'll kill them all easily! I'll be back after I kill them all. Let's go Gohan." Dad said.
"Okay!" I said and then Dad put his scouter on.
"Okay I found the seven power levels. We'll go to the weakest one first." Dad said.
"Saiyan, allow me to go with you." Piccolo said.
"Why?" Dad asked.
"Because I want the Dragon Balls just as much as you do, we can work together and then we'll have the Dragon Balls." Piccolo said.
"Alright, but I get to get my wish granted. Now let's go." Dad said.
Dad flew off in the sky.
Piccolo and I followed.
"So kid, are you strong too?" Piccolo asked.
"Yes, I'm almost as strong as my dad." I replied.
"Wow, heh. Call me Mr. Piccolo." Piccolo said and extended his arm to me.
I smiled and shook his hand.
"Okay! I'm Gohan." I replied.
Piccolo smiled.
"So Gohan, I just noticed this but you and I are wearing the same gi." Piccolo mentioned.
I looked down and realized we are wearing the same Gi, what a coincidence.
"Wow, what a coincidence." I said.
"Heh, so how old are you?" Piccolo asked.
"I'm fifteen." I replied.
"I'm nineteen, my father the Demon King spit me out right before he was sealed by Mūten Roshi." Piccolo said.
I looked at him, confused.
"What?" I asked.
"You Saiyans don't reproduce by spitting your children out?" Piccolo asked.
"Um...no. We reproduce sexually, with two people." I replied.
"That's weird. You Saiyans reproduce the same way as most of the species on this planet." Piccolo said.
"Hey you two, were almost there. In about ten minutes we'll arrive at the weakest Shadow Dragon." Dad said.
"Okay." I replied.
"Kay." Piccolo responded.
Piccolo and I continued to chat. I like Piccolo, I'm glad Dad didn't kill him.
"So why do you and your father want the Dragon Balls so badly?" Piccolo asked.
"So that we can—"
"Gohan, don't tell him. It's none o his concern." Dad said.
I frowned.
"Sorry Piccolo I can't tell you." I said.
"That's okay." Piccolo said with a smile.
"Alright we're here. Be careful, remember what Kami said about their strength." Dad warned and then he flew downward. Piccolo and I followed.
We landed in a small village.
But all the houses are destroyed, and I could see dead Earthlings. Dad looked around, using his scouter to find locate the Shadow Dragon.
Suddenly purple smoke started coming out a hole. We coughed as we breathed the smoke.
"It's poison, don't breathe it in!" Piccolo yelled.
Dad growled and ran over to a dead Earthling, he ripped off three pieces of cloth from the Earthling's clothes then he wrapped one piece around his mouth and nose.
He then tossed the other two to Piccolo and I.
We wrapped it around our mouth and noses.
"It's a Shadow Dragon." Piccolo said and got into a fighting stance.
Dad and I did the same.
Then a green dragon came out of the hole and roared!
