Saturday passed, then most of Sunday. McGonagall was super caught up in organizing the upcoming school year, especially since one of the teachers had called in saying that she couldn't teach at hogwarts this year due to medical treatment. Sure, McGonagall understood that but did she have to cancel two days before the start of the term? She was on her way down to the dungeons when she passed by the hospital wing and heard some shouting. She spun around and walked down the corridor towards the voices.

"WHY WON'T YOU LET ME IN?? I AM PRETTY SURE I HAVE A RIGHT TO SEE HIM," she heard an all too familiar voice shout.

She rounded the corner with an "What's going on?"

Madame Pomfrey looked super annoyed, Luke super pissed.

"Thank god," Madame Pomfrey groaned, "Minerva, he's your responsibility, so excuse me while I do my work. Stop whining Hemmings, Hood is not seriously harmed." She turned on her heels and disappeared through the door into the hospital wing before she locked it.

"HEY!," Luke shouted and McGonagall grabbed him by his shoulders.

"What's going on?," she repeated her question.

"Cal and me were down by the quidditch pitch and after training I wanted to talk to him. And just when we were talking and I asked him to be my boyfriend, this asshead Miller threw a bulger against Calums head, knocking him out! I swear this little slythershit-"

"Watch your mouth, young man," McGonagall said sharp and glared at him.

Luke huffed, rolled his eyes and turned away from McGonagall, his arms crossed over his chest. He leant his back against the wall and looked out of the tall window on his right which was overlooking the forbidden forest.

"I see why you are upset, but acting out like this is under no circumstances okay. First of all, you don't yell at nice Nurses who do everything they can to help the people you care about. Second of all, you don't insult someone by using their house in connection with something nasty. All houses are equal and I won't tolerate anything that is suggesting otherwise. I thought history taught you better than that. Third of all," she said and stepped towards him, blocking his view on the window, "you look at me when I talk to you. Understood?"

"Yes," Luke muttered annoyed.

McGonagall sighed. "Look, I am sorry this happened to Calum."

Luke didn't react to that.

"C'mon Poppy said he's okay," McGonagall tried again.

"Of course he is, he was injured worse during quidditch matches in the past! That's not what I am upset about. I mean, sure it sucks that he's hurt but the fact that we always get interrupted in important moments sucks way more," Luke grumbled.

Just then the door to the hospital wing opened and Michael Clifford came walking out. He had a few scratches on his cheeks and a bandaid on his forehead.

His face lit up upon seeing Luke.

"Hey Luke," he grinned, "Calum in there is doing fine. He was asking for his boyfriend though, I suppose that's you?" Luke's eyes widened and his cheeks flamed red while Michael wiggled his eyebrows. "Took you guys long enough. Anyway, Madame Pomfrey said to not let you in though, cause you were behaving like a neanderthal. I told her that's just the way you normally behave but she said it was worse than usual. Oh hi Professor." He waved at McGonagall standing behind Luke.

"Mr Clifford," McGonagall said dryly, "I see you around here awfully often."

"Yeah, being a prank master is a dangerous business," Michael grinned brightly and shoved his hands in the pockets of his Jean's, "but I love it. Luke mate, are you coming or what? Dinners about to start."

Luke blinked at him. "But..," he gestured towards the locked door.

"Oh no buddy, there's no can do. She banned you for a week, dude." Luke let out an annoyed sound and glared at the door.

Michael grabbed him by the back if his hoodie and dragged him down the corridor towards the great hall. "Bye Professor!," Michael shouted over his shoulder, "It's always nice to see you!"

McGonagall sighed and shook her head but had a soft smile on her lips. What would Hogwarts be without a prankster? She secretly was very glad that the school had Michael Clifford, just like she had been glad to have the Weasley twins and the Marauders attending her school.
