In the early morning hours, Calum woke up to someone stirring next to him. At some point during the night, Calum had intertwined his fingers with Luke's and fallen asleep. Now, Luke fingers were starting to twitch in his grasp.

He opened the eyes to see Luke waking up. Luke slowly blinked open one eye and looked up at Calum.

"Hey baby it's me," Calum said small.

Luke glanced at him sleepily.

Calum slowly scooted over to Luke and sat down next to him on the bed.

"How are you feeling Lukey?," Calum asked softly. Luke considered for a moment then shrugged his shoulders.

"Do you wanna eat something?", Calum asked. Luke shook his head.

Calum slowly took Lukes hand again. They sat in silence for a few moments, Calum being overwhelmed and didn't know what to do.

"Can we just," Luke said very quietly, "Cuddle for a while? I want to feel you breathing, hear your heartbeat. I need to know that you are okay or else I am afraid to lose my mind in a dark place..."

Calum moved to put his strong arms around Luke and Luke placed his head on Calums chest. They sat there for hours, until Luke slowly drifted off to sleep again. Calum however couldn't find any rest. He rested his head on second blonde curls and prayed to whoever was listening to him that Luke would be okay again soon.

The hospital wing slowly came to life again, Madame Pomfrey opened her office and started looking after the patients who were already awake. She released the first ones and then a handful of house elves brought in trays of breakfast for the sick people.

And then, Sophie woke up.

At first, Calum hadn't noticed the blonde girl sitting up in her bed but then he heard the soft whimpers escaping her chapped lips.

Her eyes were blown wide, blue oceans of sadness and anger. She was staring at her bandaged hands and then clenched them to fists before pressing them to her chest.

Madame Pomfrey had noticed her being awake now as well and hurried over to her bed.

"Miss Launeau, what is it? Are you in pain?," she asked worried.

Sophie looked up with her with watery eyes.

"I killed them," she breathed out and the water spilled over, "I killed them."

"Killed who?," Madame Pomfrey asked quietly.

"My parents. My baby sister. Luke and Calum, Michael and Ashley," she choked out, "I killed all of them. It is my fault they are dead, all my fault!!"

"Hush Miss Launeau, Mr Hood and Mr Hemmings are perfectly fine, look," Madame Pomfrey tired to soothe the crying girl.

Sophie's red rimmed eyes glided over to Calum and Luke and she caught Calum's eyes. Ice blue and warm brown met and for a few second they just stared at each other.

"Miss Launeau, you are experiencing stages of a trauma right now. You didn't kill anyone, it's your brain playing tricks on you. You see what has happened behind that door but it didn't happen in real life. Hood, Hemmings, Clifford and Frangipane are okay, so is your family. They are on their way to the castle and will arrive later today."

Sophie looked confused for a second then brought her hand up to her temple.

"That's right," she mumbled, "I... I don't know what just happened.."

"That's okay, it's all part of it. Just know that I am here and I will do my best to help you cope. Are you in any physical pain?," Madame Pomfrey asked calmly.
