That's Scarlet above

Scarlet

An hour and a half later, the both of us are at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. We were both scavenging the store for anything that would satisfy our needs. For example, I had a huge craving for chocolate for some odd reason but I went ahead and started searching in each and every aisle for that Milky Way that I've been longing for.

In the last aisle of the small store was the chocolate. Next to the chocolate was a man who looked slightly familiar but I couldn't quite place him. His pale and scarred face was covered partially with a black hooded jacket while some streams of his blond hair fell over his huge forehead.

Ignoring the fact that I've probably seen him, I continued to search for my chocolate. White said he was trying to jump start his car from his other gang members since his car battery somehow stopped working. To pass time, I had been wandering through the store.

I turned my back onto the familiar man and reached for the chocolate. My hand was a inch or two away when I felt him snatch me and clamp his hand over my mouth. He had been successful when he had his muscular arm securing me to him. My heart pumped with adrenaline as my foot searched for his gut or his groin to smash into. My emergency knife was not with me today so it was all hand combat for now.

My hands grasped onto his cold neck while I shoved my foot into his gut, making him bend over in pain. His hood fell off his head, exposing the blond hair that I've seen everyday. His cold hard blue eyes were stone as he locked his gaze back onto me, trying to pick himself up.

"Well Scarlet, I didn't expect to see you here," Chris sneered and automatically gets back into his fighting stance, unfazed.

All feelings left my body when he grabbed me from my chocolate. There were some flashes of betrayal and hurt but I put that away and went into a part of me that had no humanity. Not the typical snarky one with some compassion or just regular fighting Scarlet.

No. This was the Scarlet that I was raised to be. Assassin Scarlet.

Right know, he has done more than just piss me off but instead of using my voice to tell him that, I used my fists.

Ducking my head to avoid a jab to my face, I brought my fist up to make an uppercut onto his jaw. Chris's bones started to crackle causing him to yelp in pain. In return, he made a right hook to my cheek. Shots of pain from his fist ignited the spot where Chris punched me but that didn't stop me.

"I'm here to take you home Scarlet," Chris growled and pulled out of pistol.

The both of us stopped fighting and tried to catch our breath. Chris was armed, and I only had my body to protect me making this an unfair fight. He obviously didn't give two flying damns since he had a task to fulfill. His gun was drawn out and loaded while I stood there, thinking for a way out of this situation.

"You have two options dear sister. A, come home with me and you don't get hurt or B, I shoot you between your eyes and die," Chris confidently suggested. His blue eyes were dark and stone like and his position was rigid. A vein was bulging out from his skull. He looked very professional right now, except for the fact that his lips was quivering.

For the first time in my life, I'd never seen that from Chrissy. I've seen him angry and restlessly intimidating but never this. He was scared and heartbroken.

"Come on now I don't have all day," he ordered, "Just come home, sister," he lowly murmured with a voice crack and his gun still drawn.

Throwing my hands down, I kept my eyes locked onto his.

   "No," I said calmly.

A wave of sadness washed over Chris's face but was quickly covered with an emotionless one. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down and his fingers trembled over the trigger. Chris slowly loaded his gun and locked a final gaze onto me. My feet were locked into this position, not being able to move as if someone had glued them down on the floor. I couldn't bare the thought of my own sibling holding me at gun point.

"We are a family, and families don't betray each other Scar," Chris screamed, his strained voice echoing through the entire store. I also wondered where the clerk was and how he didn't notice all of this.

"Not unless you get mail from your father that contains one of your dead siblings remains," I shouted back with watery eyes. "Did you even know that he sent me parts of Donny? Our own damn brother was cut up into pieces and shoved into a box for me to see as a warning." Chris's eyes widen yet he still kept his gun locked onto me.

"He wouldn't have done that if your ass didn't get the job done," he seethed while his eyes watered like mine. "Donovan isn't dead," Chris croaked in denial.

"He is dead! Our brother is dead because of that manipulative bastard," I shouted as I felt some hot tears stream down my face. The both of us were crying but for different reasons. I'm trying to mourn the loss of my brother while Chris is denying everything I just told him. Although, Chris secretly knew I was right- he was scared to admit it.

"You are wrong Scarlet. Father would never betray us so you are just to ignorant to see past the things he does for us." And with that, Chris loaded his gun and shot at me.

Ducking quickly to avoid the bullet, a loud gun shot rang through my ears. Chris was trying to kill me and I couldn't defend myself. Luckily, I haven't been injured yet but I will be soon, mentally and physically. My thoughts processed as I tried to dodge the many bullets Chris's gun has shot.

I ran towards his and tackled him to the ground, knocking his gun out of his hand. I pinned him down to the ground while he struggled to free himself. Then, somehow he managed to get himself on top of me and took the chance to throw free punches at me while I tried to dodge them the best that I could. Bringing my leg up as far as it can go, I aimed to Chris's gut to kick him off of me. Chris went flying backwards and ended up hitting the shelves of chocolates, causing them to fall on his face. Finding the chance to grab the gun, I snatched it from the ground and brought myself up in a rush while Chris was still dazed. My arm aimed the gun to his forehead while I loaded it with my fingers.

"Forgive me Chris but I am trying to save all of us before this gets worse," I quivered as we locked final gazes. Half a second later, I pulled the trigger and a loud gun shot echoed through the small store.

This broke my heart to write but I finally found who my Scarlet would be. It took forever to be honest but up there is Elena Satine as Scarlet Adams! If you guys don't like then picture her as someone else but I see Scarlet like this.
