The January Club

Lauren's plan

I immediately ran to Meagan's house. And coincidentally, my friends were outside when I got to the gate. "Guys! Guys! Let me in!" I yelled. Meagan saw me, and immediately let me in. I ran to them and said, "Guys, we gotta hide!" "Why? What's going on?" Michael asked. "I think they found us!" I said, panicking.
As soon as I said that, a huge helicopter flew above us. "JACOB! WE KNOW YOU'RE DOWN THERE!" The man yelled. "Spoke too soon," I said. "Get away from the chopper!" Michael yelled in his Arnold Schwarzenegger impression. (Pretty ironic.) We immediately ran off. I wanted to run really fast, but I didn't want to leave my friends, so I stayed with them. Just then, a guy started shooting at us! "What the heck?! Why are they shooting?!" Brooke asked. "Do they need us dead or something?!"
We ran faster and farther, but then, Brooke tripped! "Brooke!" I yelled. I immediately grabbed her and tried to make her stand up. "My ankle is twisted!" She yelled. I then carried her, and ran off. "Guys! Let's hide in the woods!" I yelled. "Why the woods?!" Austin yelled. "So that they won't find us, Idiot!" Meagan yelled. We immediately made a sharp turn, and ran through the trees. "Wait a minute. Brooke. Can't you float?" I asked. "Oh yeah, I forgot," she said, feeling a bit embarrassed. She then got up, and used her telekinesis to fly.
"No wait! Stay down so that they don't see us," Lauren whispered. Suddenly we heard footsteps. "Shoot! They're coming!" I whispered. "What do we do?" Austin asked. "Okay," Lauren said. "How about this? When they start looking for us, Austin will figure out which direction they're coming from with his sight, then we get ready to tackle them when they get close." "Okay. Then I'll grab the first one's gun and start shooting everyone!" Michael said. "Yeah, there you go," I said. "Okay. Everybody hide," Lauren said.
A minute later, we all hid behind trees and bushes. "Austin, do you see anything?" Lauren asked. "Just some trees and bushes," he said. "No! I mean the guards!" Lauren said. "Oh. There's actually one coming now because he heard you," Austin said. "And he's coming up fast." "Okay. Everybody get ready," I said. A few seconds later, a man came, carrying a gun. When he got in the center, Lauren yelled, "Now!" And then we jumped him and attacked him. The man struggled to get out, but we held him tight. "Michael! Grab the gun!" I yelled. He then immediately grabbed the gun, and shot him. After that, it became silent.
"Michael. I would want to say that you're a murderer, but that...was...awesome!" I said. "I played a lot of games like this," he said, smirking. "Guys! More men are coming!" Austin said. We all hid again, except for Michael. Michael stood in the center, and waited. He looked around, and he immediately started shooting.
He shot five more guys, and when he was done, we all ran to him. Lauren gave him a huge hug. Michael hugged back, and I smiled. "Nice going, Michael," Sam smiled. "That was awesome!" Daniel said. "Well, all thanks to Lauren really," Michael said. "For coming up with that plan." Lauren smiled at him, and he smiled back.
As we all started cheering, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my leg. Then I started getting tired. I then immediately fell to the ground, and before I closed my eyes, my friends, fell down too.
