The first friend I made in 8th grade, was Austin. What was quite a coincidence was that we both have many similarities.
One of the biggest was that we were both born in January. He was born on the first, which meant I was nine days younger.
We both also play video games. He mainly plays games like Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, and Animal Crossing. I mainly play Mario and Sonic. But we both love to play Super Smash Bros.
It is amazing to have a friend like him. Even though he can be annoying and can be quite a handful, I love the guy. He's like a big brother to me.
And in my family, I don't have any brothers. But when I hang out with him, it makes me feel like this is what others do with their brothers.
