The sun began to set as we climbed up the cliff and went to the entrance. I didn't want to turn back and leave Meagan and Brooke locked in there and probably get killed. We still had a chance to save them.
"They just have a door here?" I asked them, looking at the plain, iron door. "Just knock," Lauren said. I knocked on the door, and there was a beep. I looked to the side and I saw a tiny camera.
"Uh...hello?" I asked, looking in it. "Do my eyes deceive me?" A voice replied. "Are those my projects standing by my doorstep?" It was Dr. Enero. "Uh, yeah," I said. "Oh good day," he said, sounding a bit giddy. "I'll open the door for you all." I then heard a buzz, and the I heard something. I walked to the side, and saw two gigantic double doors opening. "Guys, come on," I said.
We walked inside, and he closed the doors. He then ran inside and gave me a huge hug. "Oh this is such a good day!" He said, squeezing me. I felt so embarrassed. "Oh come here," he said. He then grabbed my arms and kissed both my cheeks quickly! By the texture of those guys lips and the little tiny hairs on his goatee, it was terrible. "Oh come on! Come on! We're just about to begin the first experiment!" He said, grabbing my arm and running to the room. What is with this guy? Do we really mean that much to him?
He then led us to a big room where we saw a huge machine. We walked in and I looked to the side where there was a window. I looked in it and I saw Meagan and Brooke! They weren't facing the window. He then unlocked the door by sliding a key card, and he opened the door. He then let us in, and the girls saw us. Meagan looked at me and became surprised. "Jacob!" She said, with tears streaming down fast. She then ran to me and hugged me tightly. I then hugged back with a smile. "Oh glorious day!" He said. He then gave us all a big group hug. I swear to gosh with this doctor.
"Okay, now let's begin the project!" He said. He grabbed my arm, and rushed towards the machine. As soon as he almost did, I ran around super fast, quickly swiped his key card, slid it in the slot, and my friends ran out. I then quickly attacked Dr. Enero while my friends left. Meagan just looked at me as I attacked.
When I pushed him into the room and closed the door, I turned to Meagan and she squeezed me tightly. "Jacob...you came back!" She said, tears sliding down her cheeks. "Of course I did," I said. "I didn't want to leave any of my friends behind." "Yeah, well I mean that, you're alive.... And...I thought you were dead...." She then cried on my shirt. "I'm sorry," she sniffed. "No it's okay," I said.
And then...the next thing I did unexpectedly...I kissed Meagan's cheek. She stared at me and blushed. I didn't why I did that. But she hugged me again, crying on my shirt. I then carried her. "Come on," I said.
"Let's get out of here." "Okay...," she sniffed and smiled. And then, I ran out full speed.
