The January Club

A way out

Just then, we heard a huge bang! We looked and saw that the door fell over. "Jacob! Meagan!" Lauren yelled. "Lauren!" Meagan yelled running and hugging her. Beside her was Sam. She looked a bit tired.
"You okay?" I asked. "Sam burned the door open. And now she's getting dehydrated," Lauren explained. "Oh. Well, we gotta give her some water right now," I said. "That's when I discovered that there are water pipes in the lab," Lauren said. "Like this one right here." She then bang her fist against the pipe.
I leaned my ear close to it and heard flowing water! "How are we gonna break the pipe then?" I asked. "I think I still have the strength to break the pipe," Sam said. "But how are you going to drink the water if we don't have a canteen or anything?" Meagan asked. "I'll just use my hands," Sam said. She then used her pyrokinesis to break the pipe, and the water spewed out fast. "Careful Sam," Lauren said. She then cupped her hands like a bowl and drank the water fast. "Oh that feels so much better!" Sam said, feeling relieved.
"Okay, now break the other doors quickly!" I said. "Wait but first." I then pointed to the chains around my ankles. She used her pyrokinesis to break the chain and ran around fast. "Cool! Okay, now you can break the doors." I said.
It took like ten minutes for her to break the doors and drink the water. Just then, an alarm went off! "Prisoners have escaped!" A voice yelled. "We gotta get out of here quick!" I yelled. We ran down the halls as soon as I yelled. In front of us were guards! "Halt!" The guards yelled. "Hey you! Get out of our way!" I yelled. I then ran around them super fast, and attacked them fast! It felt so awesome to have my speed back.
We ran down more of the hallways, then I told Austin, "Austin! Is there a way out?!" "There is only one exit!" He yelled. "But there are guards next to it! And Dr. Enero is on his way fast!" "Oh shoot!" I yelled. "We're gonna have to use you to navigate us!" Brooke yelled. "We're about to head into the room where they took us to the doctor!" Austin yelled.
We turned and saw the room. Luckily, no one was there. We then heard footsteps. "Guys! Hide!" Lauren whispered, loudly. We then ran behind the desk. Except Michael. He grabbed one of the guns off the floor and stood by the doorway. I turned to him. "Michael, what are you doing?!" I whispered, loudly. "I got this," he said. He then started his gun, and jumped towards the hallway and started shooting! "He's never gonna get too old for this," I said. "No he isn't," everyone said, simultaneously. A few seconds later, he walked back and told us he shot them all. We then got up, and walked back out. Before we ran off, Michael grabbed another gun and came with us. "You sure you can carry that much firepower?" I asked. "I can never carry too much firepower," he said.
We then carried on running through the hallways. Eventually, we reached the exit. When we got there, over a hundred men were standing beside it. It was like seeing a light at the end of a long tunnel. "It's too late!" The doctor yelled. "There are over a hundred men here, and over a hundred tranquilizer guns telling you to turn back and give up!"
We all just stood there silently as they got their guns ready. I looked back at Austin and nodded my head and he nodded back. I then turned the other way back at Michael. I nodded and he nodded back. We all looked straight at them and we positioned ourselves. I was in front. Austin was on my right, and Michael was on my left, pulling out his other gun. Sam went beside Michael and she started creating fireballs in her hands. Brooke was beside Austin, and slowly glowed. She then lifted herself about an inch off the ground. Daniel was at the back getting his motors started. Meagan was on his left, and Lauren was on his right. The men had no idea what we were doing, but they still held fire.
We then walked forward slowly. Then we started speeding up. We then sped up faster, and faster, and faster, until we started to run.
I started running, and Austin ran by my side.
Michael ran and started shooting left and right at the bad guys.
Sam then got into her full blaze form, and threw fireballs at the guards like Mario.
Brooke performed a huge, psychic burst, and with her arms, started pushing the bad guys out of the way with her mind.
Finally, quickly spread out. as Meagan and Lauren got on Daniel's wheelchair, and zoomed straight toward Dr. Enero. Daniel was going so fast, that when he hit the doctor, the results were fantastic!
We then immediately got out of position, and ran out. (Don't ask how we learned that, just say that what we did was awesome.)
