Reflecting pools

I didn't know what was going on while I was passed out. But all I know is that I woke up, washed up on a beach, and my mouth feeling dry. I got up weakly, and looked around. I wasn't on a beach. I was on an island. I looked down at my shirt. My clothes were torn and covered in sand. I felt my hot, tan skin. It felt like I was there for hours!
I started to walk, but felt my body. It felt so achy! I looked around for my friends. They were nowhere to be found. And while I walked, questions were circling around my brain. Did they die? Were they taken? Are they here too? What happened to them? I wanted to shout, but my tongue and throat were so dry, I could barely speak. I walked through some of the trees, through the jungle. The sun was beating down on me so much, I felt like I was gonna burn up.
I didn't know how long I walked, but I finally found water. I walked to it quickly, and fell on my knees. I then cupped my hands together, scooped up some of the water, and slowly sipped. After that sip, I immediately fell into it, and glugged down the water! It was spring water! Cold, fresh, delicious, spring water. I then took my shirt off and poured some on my chest, wiping the sand off. I felt like I was in heaven the moment I felt and drank the water. But...I just wish my friends were there too.
I got up, put my shirt back on, and looked around. I then started to shout. "Austin! Michael! Daniel!" I shouted. "Lauren! Sam!"
A few seconds, I heard something. I then turned around, and jumped! It was the hooded figure! "You really need to work on your entrances more," I said. "An entrance that doesn't involve smoke, or giving people heart attacks." "Forgive me," it said. "I'm trying to be really careful with these things." "Why are you here?" I asked. "I'm here to tell you about your friends," it said. "My friends?" I asked. "Wait? How did you know about what happened to us?" "I watched all of you in my reflecting pool," it answered. "Which by the way, you drank out of it."
It then pointed at the spring. "Oooooohhhhhhh. I am so sorry," I said, apologetically. "It's alright. I understand you need the strength after all that," it said. "Yeah. Well now. Brooke and Meagan are probably kidnapped. Austin, Michael, Daniel, Lauren, and Sam are probably dead, and here I am drinking water out of reflecting pools."
I then sat down, looking in the water. I saw mine and the hooded figure's reflection. It then pressed the tip of its staff in the water, and swirled it around. (This reminds me of the Lion King.) At first, I didn't know what it was doing, but then, I didn't see my face anymore. I saw Meagan's! I then saw not only hers, but also Brooke's! And the expressions on their face weren't good. And then, they started to speak.
"Meagan, don't worry. They'll rescue us," Brooke said. "I know," Meagan said, sadly. "But...that's not what I'm worried about." I continued staring into it without noticing any of my surroundings. "Then..what are you worried about?" Brooke asked. "I never told him...," she slowly replied. "Told who and what?" Brooke asked. "Jacob," she answered. "What were you gonna tell him?" Brooke asked. "I never got to tell him how I felt...," she said. I then saw tears streaming down her cheeks. "How you felt?" Brooke asked. Meagan then nodded.
A few seconds later, Brooke's eyes widened. "You...you actually feel that way about him?!" She asked, getting surprised. "Yes. I do. I do so very much," Meagan replied. "But...what if it's too late? What if he's dead?" She then covered her face. Tears were filling up in my eyes. "What if he won't rescue us...?" She then began to cry. "No...NO!" I shouted. Just then, the image began to fade. "NO MEAGAN! DON'T GO! DON'T GO!" I then banged my fists in the water. Thunder clouds rolled in, and it became dark. And then, it began to rain. "MEAGAN!!!" I yelled in the sky.
I then hugged my knees, and buried my face in them. I then felt the figure's hand touch my shoulder. "It's not too late, Jacob," it said. "You still have time to save them." "I was supposed to be the fastest...," I sniffed. "But...I was just...too slow to save my friends...." A minute later, the figure took my hand, and made me stand up. It then placed the tip of its staff against my heart. And I slowly began to glow! The glow was a dark blue color. I then started spiraling all around my body! I then felt stronger! And my clothes started becoming dry and new again! And my achiness was gone!
"Woah!" I said, surprised. "You still have time to save your friends, Jacob," it said. "Don't give up." "I won't," I said. "Thanks a lot." It then raised its staff in the air, and the clouds disappeared showing the big, bright, blue sky again. It then slowly faded away. It then looked normal again. "Woah...," I said again.
Just then, I heard rustling. I looked around, and to my surprise, I saw Austin, Michael, Daniel, Lauren, and Sam.
