It was Friday when I left the school. I stayed in my room Saturday and Sunday, thinking about what happened with Meagan. On Monday morning, I didn't feel like good. And I don't mean sick. I mean like I didn't want to go back causing another problem. Maybe the next time I show up, we'll all be dead.
I got to the school anyway. Because of my mom. I went there, and walked to the cafeteria. I saw my friends, but I didn't see Meagan. I walked over and asked them, "Where's Meagan?" Sam looked at me, and said, "Meagan said she didn't feel good, so she stayed home."
I then felt a huge headache. I sat down, and put my hands on my forehead. "How much more trouble can this idiot cause?" I asked myself. But even though Michael heard me, he said, "Dude. Chill out with all the depression!" "Well how can I, Michael?" I asked him, a little mad. "How can I calm down? I'm the only reason why she's not here. And that we're all in danger because of me!" "Dude! I was the one that looked it up!" He argued. "I made you look it up!" I yelled back "Well I was the one who pressed the search bar!"
I then banged my forehead against the table. "If it makes you feel better, Jacob," Lauren said. "After school, let's all go to see Meagan." I looked up at her. "Forget it. I'm not going," I said. "Besides. She was the one who told me to leave her alone...." My friends didn't say anything after that. We just ate breakfast, and went to class. I decided not to run all day. As much as I love running, feeling depressed just drags me down, and running isn't gonna help.
After school everyone left. And yes, except me. Because I didn't want to start another mess again. So I walked home. (Again.) And I walked to my room, and turned on my Wii. Right when I was about to put the game in, the phone rang, and my mom got it.
"Hello?... What?...Oh...Alright....Hold on." She then came to my room, and said, "Jacob, there's someone on the phone for you." I got up, and I took the phone. "Hello?" I asked. I then thought it was gonna be any of my friends, but the voice sounded deep.
"Jacob...," It said. "Uh...hi...?" I asked. "We know you looked up the information. And now, we will track you down-" "Yeah yeah, you will find me, and you will kill me, I get it!" I said, interrupting it. "Just tell me who the heck you are." "We are the one's who got you out of the womb...." As soon as it said that, I suddenly felt scared. (Don't ask me how I didn't get scared before. I was just depressed.) "Okay.... And...how did you get this number?" I asked. "Information is classified," It said. "Then why the heck are you calling?" I asked. "There wasn't anything else to use to warn me? Just a stupid telephone call?" "Does this do anything for you?"
A second later, the doorbell rang. I jumped by the sound of it. My mom went to answer it. Before I went to see who it was outside my window, my mom opened the door, and I heard the door slam shut! I ran to the room, and saw two guys in black suits. (Always. There's always big guys in black suits.) Before my mother said anything, one of them quickly tranquilized her, and she passed out! "You're coming with us, Jacob," one of them said. "If you want me, you're gonna have to catch me!" I said, and I immediately ran off at high speed.
