Dying Rose

Jungkook's POV

I place the tray down on the table before walking over to Wan's bed. Beads of sweat form on her forehead as her lips dried up, turning to a white greyish color.

It's been days since she had fallen sick. "Wan, I got you some porridge, come eat some" I shake her up softly.

But she doesn't move at all. Instead she starts coughing like crazy. I watch as she grabs the cloth that was stained with red liquid and she coughs into it.

She was getting weaker and smaller every second.

"I'm not hungry Jungkook" she turns to the side.

It's also been days since she's eaten. Not even a cup of water did she take in. Everyone worried for her health.

Why is she being like this? "Come on. Just a few bites. You haven't eaten in days and I'm worried about you" this time I walk over to the tray and grab the bowl of porridge.

Going back to the bed, I help her sit up in a comfortable position.

"Ah" I place the spoon infront of her mouth after blowing it a few times. Her lips slowly parts as I fed her the first spoon.

She's weak. Chewing the food probably felt like lifting up an entire cow to Her and I could tell that she's too tired to even eat.

But I couldn't let her go another day of starving, "Here" I scoop another spoon and place it infront of her mouth. But this time she began a coughing again.

Blood spurred from her inside and out her mouth. This time I grab her cloth and wipe her mouth for her. Her hand that reached for the cloth stayed still in the air as she stares into space.

"Is there really nothing we can do about it?" I dread the thought of her leaving me. The thought of her leaving us.

And it broke my heart when she shook her head. But I couldn't let her go like this...maybe if I can find the lotus...

Narrator's POV

Princess Seulgi held in her hands a charm she had gotten at the store this morning. It was of course for Jimin, she bought it thinking about him.

'You still haven't given up yet' like a mother she scolded herself when she realized that she had already been rejected.

But how many times has she been rejected by him? And yet look at how fate still brought him closer to her.

'It's meant to be...don't give up'

"That's all for today! You guys can go rest"

Jimin tiredly placed back the sword, like others, his hunger was eating him alive during lessons. But every low growl that came from his stomach took him one step closer to punishments.

Like the saying, crossing over a mountain just to encounter another one, Jimin ran the other way after seeing the same girls who were after him the other days. But on the other side awaited Princess Seulgi.

Her smiles were contagious. Jimin cleared his throat, she was the least worst of them all, so he'd rather go through her than them.
