"Hi again!"

I jump back in fear covering my face with my arms.

Slowly looking at that person, I sigh when I saw Wendy looking at me confused.

"What was that?" She laughs as she helps me pick up the plates.

I ignore her and walk into the cook room gently placing the dishes into the big bowl. She placed the last two in there before staring at me not knowing what to do.

Picking up the big bowl I walk past her and out into the back. I can hear her foot steps as she follows me.

She catches up to me as I reach the water pipes in the back of the house.

Placing the big bowl down I roll up my sleeves. She stands there and watches me as I turn on the pipes letting water shoot out right away.

"What are you doing?" Wendy questions as she kneels next to me.

I stared at her while rinsing the wooden bowls. "Did you just ask me what I was doing?"

She nods with those puppy like eyes and I couldn't help but to stare into them.

"You're joking right?" I questioned once I looked away.

She doesn't reply.

She doesn't know what washing the dishes is?

"I'm washing the dishes" I waved the chopsticks infront of her face as she frowns.

"So that's what unnie does when we're done eating..." She whispers to herself.

I looked at her confused.

But seconds later she grabs the chopsticks out of my hand as she pulls over the bowl closer to her. "Here I'll help!" She exclaims.

I just watch as she drops the chopsticks back into the bowl of dirty water.

Turning my head towards her sleeve I quickly roll them up. The tips were soaked as it drips out water. "Make sure to always check your clothing" I scold.

She smiles sheepishly at me before continuing her chore.

Watching her I couldn't help but smile. She continues to toss and turn the dishes around in the dirty water.

........

"We're finally done!" She exclaims.

I wipe off the sweat on my forehead before staring at her.

Nodding I looked up at the sun.

It's probably already lunch time. I sigh before heading into the cook room to prepare lunch.

Wendy follows me in as she stared at me like a lost puppy. "It's noon. Meaning we have to make lunch"

She frowns, "So we're not done yet?"

I shake my head before cutting open the bag of rice. "Do you know how to make rice?"

This time she shakes her head. I'm not very shocked though...judging by her skills earlier for picking up the wood I chop....

"Give me the easiet dish to make!"

I stop pouring the rice turning my attention towards her. "That would be this" she stares at the rice.

Reaching for it she takes a deep breath.

"Don't fuck this up" I heard her whisper while running her hands inside the bowl.

Laughing I walk away to allow her to work on that.

Seungwan's POV

I turn to see Jimin cutting up a radish. His slender hands grasp tightly onto the knife handle as he cuts into the radish again cutting each half into smaller pieces.

How does he do that?

I turn back to my pile of a mess. Taking one more breath I bring it to the fire pit with the medal holder over the fire.

Placing the rice on it I grab a piece of wood.

I poked at the somewhat dying fire trying to bring it back to laugh.

Coughing as the smoke hit my face.

Wait how do I know if it's done?

I look up and see Jimin stealing glances at me. When we make eye contact I give him a bright smile.

He looks at me suspiciously before continuing on with his stuff.

Turning my attention back to the rice I come face to face with heat of the fire as it warms up my entire face.

But ignoring the heat I continued to poke at the now big fire. Tossing the stick to the side I stand up and wipe off the sweat on my face.

"Is the rice okay?" Jimin questions as he stirs the pot.

"Yes sir!" I exclaim definitely excited that I actually didn't fuck something up for the first time.

He stops stirring and looks up at me.

...........

What's wrong?

I look behind me to see if he was looking past me but his eyes stare right into mines as he slowly starts to smile.

"What?" I asked him clearly unaware of why he's like this.

He lets out a small chuckle before walking over to me. Taking out a small cloth while heading over.

Slowly he holds the cloth infront of me.

"Why are you giving this to me?" I questioned taking it.

He smiles, "You'll need it later"

I watch as he turns away smiling......at least he's smiling. But why was he smiling?

"The rice should be ready now" he says while keeping his attention on the pot.

Narrator's POV

Seungwan tiredly walked into her "room" as she collapse onto the ground.

While Jimin was setting the table he insisted that Seungwan go wash up.

Forcing herself up she walks over to where her bag of belongings laid.

Digging through it she pulls out a mirror.

"My hair must be a mess by now" she frowns as she lifts the mirror up to her face.

Immediately she drops the mirror.

Her face smeared with charcoal and dirt.

"How..." Her eyes widened as she looks down at her hand.

Her hands more dirty then all the dirt she's ever washed off in her life.

Suddenly she remembers Jimin's amused face in the cook room.

"You'll need it later"

She grabs the cloth he handed to her staring down at it.

Slowly she smiled as she grabbed the mirror again and began cleaning her face.
