Jimin's POV
"Why can't they find her body?!" Na Eun screamed as the guards came back empty handed again. It's been days since the incident with Seungwan...
I-i don't even know what to say anymore...
Master Son walks in, I haven't seen him since that day, and I've been avoiding him because of that.i mean how can a man be so cruel to let his own daughter die infront of his own eyes?!
"Jimin.." he takes a seat next to me.
His words are chosen carefully, "How have you've been?"
I don't reply. Is this suppose to be a joke? Did he seriously just ask that question?
"Why did you do it? Why didn't you stop them-no, why did you bring them?"
Master Son sighs, "If we had not killed her, the king would have us capture her back to the palace and torture her...the king may look like a nice man but his cruelty is beyond ones mind.."
"I can't let my daughter suffer"
........
Twelve Years Later
"Master, we've found something!" Jimin stood up from his seat. His troops that he sent out to search for Seungwan's body returns after months.
They bow before him, "We found a small hut built all the way in the forest, its old and broken down but we believe it could connect to madam"
Jimin quickly headed back out with his troops to this mysterious hut. It took them a day to get to that hut but when they reached it, Jimin took the first move.
He made his way up the stairs and enter the old broken down hut. The door was still securely attached to the hut. But inside was totally wrecked.
Everything in the hut is damaged and everything was left behind including dishes and clothes and everything.
"We found this master" a guard came up with what looked like a scroll. Jimin took it and unraveled it, someone had sketched Seungwan beautifully showing every magnificent feature of hers.
Jimin could feel his heart getting stabbed once again. After all of these years, he still couldn't get Seungwan out of his heart.
His fist clenched tightly onto the paper, "Master we found a tunnel not far from here!" Another soldier from outside called.
They all rushed outside together and head to the so called tunnel. Jimin bent down and looked inside the tunnel. It was dark and who knows where this tunnel would lead to.
"Have any of your men gone down yet?"
They shook their head. "It's too dangerous to try and check it out..lets just go-"
And just as Jimin stood up he slipped and fell into the tunnel. You can say that the ride down wasn't that pleasant. It felt like hours that Jimin slid on dirt in the darkness.
After what felt like a good 5 minutes, he finally stumbled to the ground. Unlike above, this place was rather dark and more cozy?
It took him a few seconds to finally see where he was. A cave. Not just any cave, but a cave that someone seemed to have lived in or at least stayed at.
Jimin walked around barely able to see where he was going because of the limited light in this cave. But he held onto the wall or dirt and slowly explored the place.
"Are you okay master?" He heard shouting from above but Jimin didn't reply. Instead he continue walking around like a blind person, holding onto walls and feeling if anything were infront of him.
Just as he was going to give up and head back to where he came from, a soft fabric fell into his hold. His grip tightened on the fabric and slowly he moved it around.
"Is this.."
Yanking it, Jimin closed his eyes blinded by the light that came from behind the curtains.
But behind the curtain laid the portraits that were once revealed to Seungwan. Jimin looked at them amazed, but his eyes widen when he makes out Seungwan's face in one of the murals.
There were no words or writing that would allow him to know what these murals were for but he looked at everyone of them and it didn't take him long to figure out that the male was none other then Mark.
As he walked around, his gaze stop at a familiar scene. It was him and Seungwan on the room looking at the stars that one night...
And after that one, there was one of him leaving her for the palace.....
"Seungwan" Jimin whispered as his hands fell over the murals that were now worn out.
It felt as if he was reliving the past, the memories flash back in, the memories of them, the memories of their love for one another and sadly, the memory of her dying in his arms.
Everyday, since her death, Jimin's woken up to the same dream of Seungwan dying before his eyes. Twelve years of sadness all built in and never forgotten.
"Master, isn't that-"
Jimin turned his head to a guard who's stepping into a dark, blacked entry. In the entry we're stairs, and again, Jimin was the first to explore this mysterious cave.
As he took steps down, light shine into the stairs, "What is that?" But the question soon disappeared when he reaches the bottom.
His eyes widened, there laying on a rock big enough to fit five, laid Seungwan...her body still fresh and beautiful with the rock decorated with flowers of all kind...
Jimin felt his heart stopped, "Seungwan..."
